I didn’t have the rude customer service experience so many others are talking about. Came in on a Tuesday afternoon and everyone was nice… it’s basically like any other Goodwill I’ve been to I’m pretty sure the prices are standardized. Good finds here!

It’s the worst thrift store that can exist! Worst Goodwill in the whole chain. Employees and store managers are extremely rude and not doing their job. Working in the services it means you have to please the customers who spend money in your store not treat them like bags of trash! These people are so bad, you won’t believe it! You don’t have to believe me… just go shop there and see it for yourself. You would be surprised to see a lot of overpriced items that it make you think you’re in a very dainty antique boutique on Main street in Santa Barbara . They should be ashamed for this nonsense! I just wish someone would buy them and change all the managers and the employees with people with better attitudes, with people that are suitable for working in the services, not just awkward random individuals with no background check and social skills.

Worst goodwill I’ve ever been was dirty the staff and manager were rude, and disregarding to my situation. I am a regular shopper at all the local goodwills and there customer service was beyond rude. I will never shop at this store again. Awful experience from a long time So Cal goodwill shopper. I came back with a valid receipt and 4 t shirts with tags on them still, like the policy said, and never had such a hassle to return 4 goodwill«used» t shirts that I didn’t want, all I wanted was to exchange for store credit like the store policy allows within a week. and they pushed me out of the store like I was a thief twice. And I had drove from Simi Valley to do my returns for them to deny me for what reason? It doesn’t look good in there monthly report is what I was basically they don’t want to give me my money back once they have it. They are independently owned, it’s not a goodwill for the less fortunate, it’s a greed store for the owner that gets free donations and robs you for your penny’s, and only thinks about the stores profit so they get bonus or incentive programs at our cost obviously .I could care less about your goodwill profits I am the customer who’s keeps your stores running and to be disrespected over 4 used worn out t shirts was beyond me. They told me if we return it messes with there monthly earnings report… WELL I DON’T CAREABOUTYOURMONTHLYEARNINGS Or RETURNS. I care about being fair and being the customer. and when I come in with my receipt and 4 shirts as a customer I don’t wanna hear about returns don’t look good to corporate I just want TOBETREATEDLIKEYOUWOULDWANTTOBETREATED … Not denied twice like I was some criminal, when they were obviously good will purchases. I’ve since just thrown out the ripped and stained t shirts. YA didn’t notice at the time of purchase BUTTHATSWHYTHE7 day return is in effect I thought, but not at this POSSTORE so your up $ 15.00 on me and I’m out 15.00 of trash congrats Goodwill on your NOTSOGOODWILLTOMEBUTTOYOURSELF… Greed Corp

I wasn’t happy with this store they are over priced and when she asked if I get any discount for military or student I told her that I go to adult education in Thousand Oaks and also I was buying a church outfit for my five year old son that was with me and she said that didn’t qualify because it has to be College student not adult ed or elementary students! I thought that was kinda lame. l have also flushed $ 10 down the drain with a toy that did not work because they had it down as a toy not a electronic. I like the chain of stores just this one sucks

Most stuff is reasonably priced. Once in a while you will see something that is definitely overpriced, but it’s usually the new items from Target. I’m not sure if they buy the stuff from Target or it is donated by them, but it’s stuff that they have a surplus of and is out of season or they aren’t selling anymore. Two wenesdays a month they do a 50% off(almost) everything sale, and it’s always mad house when they do it in the PM. I have bought really cool things for cheap. I have seen really weird things on the shelves, like a sample sized box of tampons. I don’t like it when they yell out that«the store is closing in 30 minutes», then every 5 – 10 minutes after that. Overall good place that I frequent, but it can be hit or miss.

I come to this Goodwill to check if they have any pet supplies. For some reason most of the thrift stores in the area don’t ever carry any and this one does. I’ve found some cool stuff here in the past, a designer dog tote, terrariums, travel crates, small animal accessories etc. The pet selection isn’t big and sometimes isn’t at all, but I like to check. Beyond that, they’re decent for women’s shoes, women’s clothes, some men’s suits, clothes, kid’s clothes, and a little kitchen stuff. The store is clean enough and the staff are polite. It’s worth a stop if you just want to browse around.

Once I was ready to check out I was surprised to hear a «hello» since I usually get the cold shoulder this surprised me. This gentleman was so friendly and nice! He’s the only reason I’m giving them 3 stars. Personally I shop at the goodwill to stretch a dollar but in most cases I’d be better off just buying the items new. This goodwill makes me sad the prices are ridiculous, the manager is very rude, and the fact that they get these items for free and still charge an arm and your first born son is the worse part.

Not super organized for a Goodwill. Prices are always way too high and not a very wide selection of items.

Love this location! It’s a pretty decent sized Goodwill and found a wide variety of things that I liked in just my first visit! The staff here are friendly too and I’ll definitely be coming back!

I love this place! Not only do I drop, but I shop. When I donate, there is always a friendly, helpful person in the back to unload stuff out of my car, exchange pleasantries, and give me a tax-deductible receipt. When I shop, I find the place is very clean, the people helpful, and the prices are right. It is very well organized. They are very efficient. Sometimes when I drop things off, and then go around to enter through the front, the items I have donated are being tagged and placed on the shelves already! I really do believe that they are providing jobs, and a service to the community.

I enjoy shopping here every now and then. The workers are usually nice, it seems organized and clean, and they have a lot of stuff. The people outside helping you take stuff out of your car are helpful(they take donations behind the store). Most prices are good, some are overpriced, so you just gotta come often and look/dig around. I’ve definitely found some treasures here!

Decent selection of men’s clothes, as long as you’re Large or bigger. Despite the dearth men’s Small or Medium clothing I did manage to find a few nice shirts for very cheap. My girlfriend had much better luck finding women’s clothing in a variety of sizes and styles. In fact, if you’re female, the overall selection is MUCH larger by comparison.

These people are crazy. I tried to return something that I bought on The other day… And the two cashiers wouldn’t let me because they claimed the receipt says that I bought the items on Monday and those items which were green tagged should have been marked off on the reciept. They kept telling me «You came on Monday. Thats what the reciept says. I dont see this item on your reciept. because it should have been this price… Green was half off.» This was very weird because I vividly remember that yellow tags were on sale that day because I had been upset that I couldn’t find any cheap things. Anyway, I just came home to check my calendar and today is Tuesday the ninth, which means that the date of my receipt(4÷7÷13) was indeed Sunday like I remember. Just wtff I can’t believe the employees ganged up on me, messing with my mind and not only making me embarrassed but outright refusing to do refund what was deserved. Also for being so unabashedly confident of the wrong date, they had me absolutely confused and ashamed in believing them.

I love this place, I go to the 99 cent store and then walk over to the store. The clerks are so friendly and if something is not priced they give it to you for a small price. They have great stuff I purchased 2 chairs brand new and a table brand new clothes, nick naks, and candles unburned. They have some really cool stuff and when I went Friday they were loaded with stuff. Enjoy a day at this place, you are not only helping people helping themselves. There prices are so low compare to the ones in Ventura especially the one near Vons off Thompson, to high priced
