Wow! Pain free — first time in about three years. I hurt my back at work. Went to two rounds of PT at Spaulding, but it never worked. I felt like I was destined to live the pain. I also tried acupuncture and massage — nothing worked. At some point I realized I had to give PT another shot. I went here based upon Unilocal reviews. Debbie is amazing. She said«I know what’s wrong with you» and mentioned a muscle I had never heard of. I was pain free a few hours after my first visit. Pain free. If you are looking for PT that works — I highly recommend Cambridge PT& Sports Medicine.

I have had my share of physical therapists(double ACL reconstruction and microdisectomies)… Tore my ACL in February 2014 — knew it, had pre-PT here and the staff was really supportive about gaining quad strength. Had the surgery in April 2014 and came back here for post-surgery PT. Debbie made me do everything and sent me home with exercises every time. Debbie is COMMITTED to each patient she sees. She knows her stuff. Really. The one-on-one appointment with Debbie makes you feel comfortable because 1) you know she focused on you and 2) she will chit chat with you. Dr. Roncarati is straightforward — will tell you like it is. Yes, I’m still doing those straight-leg raises with weights. I am not 100% with my knee because my hamstring strength is still weak. But I know my rehab program with Debbie and Al supporting me will help. Come here — and see how PT really should be – you and your improvement. Remember to be patient about rehab…

This place is really excellent despite its modest appearance. I decided to give it a try after Harvard Vanguard(where I am a patient) did nothing to improve my «tennis elbow» after many disappointing treatments. I finally had to get a steroid shot, which worked for a while, but then stopped working, and I was told that this is probably chronic. It was a huge ordeal to get an outside referral, when one is a patient at Harvard Vanguard, but it was completely worth it. It did take a lot of sessions with Debbie(thankfully, fully covered by insurance), and it completely improved afterwards! I realized that many injuries doomed«chronic» could really be improved by a skillful therapist, so please give Debbie a try!

So I have had plantars fasciitis for over a year. I went to a podiatrist, bought tons of inserts, went on pills, and went to a PT place in the south end which seemed very disinterested in my progress. Two weeks with Cambridge Physical Therapy and Sports Medicine and I feel almost completely better. Go here. They are very thorough and know their stuff.

I received excellent treatment here over the past few months for a back injury. The atmosphere is casual and relaxed. Debbie worked tirelessly to help me strengthen the muscles I needed to in order to be stronger and pain-free. She is a friendly and generous person, always willing to go the extra mile. Her assistant Kristin is also friendly and fun to be around. Dr. Roncarti does the evaluations from time to time, and he is a refreshingly no-nonsense doctor, in jeans and a t-shirt, giving real-life advice for your injury. They share office space with Massage Therapy of Boston — so you can get a targeted soft tissue massage to help ease the pain — also a great deal! You’ll leave Cambridge PT& Sports medicine cured, and also feeling like you’ve made new friends!
