Just The Way You Like It

This has always been the place to go for quality.

So I was driving around Cambridge trying to get a haircut the day after Labor Day for a job interview that afternoon. The three places that I had be to before had long lines. Unilocal to the rescue once again!
I found this barber shop off of my iPhone app. I walked in and it comes to me that this just might be the neighborhood barber shop I’ve been looking for. Right after I walked in, one of the barbers struck up a conversation with me about my shoes (Vibram Five Fingers). The barbers could not have been more friendly.
Most importantly, the haircut I got was awesome. The guy took about 35 minutes, but I swear he cut each hair to perfection. My hair is pretty easy to cut and I’m generally not that picky, but being able to get a $ 40 cut for $ 16 is awesome. Im going to keep coming back. Oh, and I got the job. Now I can’t say that it was because of the haircut, but looking good always helps. That’s results.

My good friend Tre put me on to this spot after I moved back to Boston from LA. I was living in Rancho Cucamonga and I was getting lined up at T’s Quality Styles which was comfortably located in between a tattoo shop and a massage parlor. T was the man and kept me looking fresh throughout school. Now I go to JET. He’s the man too and has been cutting hair in Cambridge for longer than anyone can remember. Also, he seems to know just about everyone that comes in there from the old folks to the little kids. Try to go early in the week tho, it gets busy close to the weekend. Best fade in town…
