He was courteous and prompt however he charged us 2x as much for a digital lock than it was advertised online ($ 250 vs. $ 125). If you use him, make sure you ask his prices up front. I feel like I got ripped off!

So I’ve never actually used a Locksmith before, but I was impressed with this guy. The lock to my house stopped working one morning. I called him at 8:45 and we quickly scheduled an appointment for him to come by in the afternoon. When I called to say that the lock had gotten worse he was ready to come by right away, although we just ended up keeping the original appointment.
Quick, professional and nice.
Also — he was a real person, which apparently is frequently not the case when you google «locksmith cambridge ma.»

I’ve used this service to change locks on my apartment. Bob has been on time, courteous and conscientious. When one of my locks stopped working and the little springs fell out, he came by to fix it free of charge. I have used this service on a scheduled basis, and have not used it for emergencies.
