This is one of the worst Starbucks I have ever been to. Very slow service. Plenty of workers standing around talking while I’m waiting. Very frustrating

The smoothies and fruit drinks here are pretty yucky and the indifferent service to top it off.

I’m loyal to Starbucks because of my two drinks: + Hot soy latte + Starbucks Doubleshot However, every time I come to this location, they mess up my drink. The double shot did not taste at all like it had the right amount of espresso to milk ratio. The soy latte didn’t taste like it had any espresso, as I only tasted soy milk. Fortunately, I was able to catch the mistake and went back to ask if I could have a shot added to the drink. The barista gave me attitude and asked what was wrong with it. He corrected it, placed it on the counter, and looked right at me without saying anything. I went my way. I will not be returning to this location — expect long lines no matter what time of day it is. There are plenty of other options for coffee around KSQ.

As much as I love Starbucks, this location is pretty dreadful. The partners are consistently not friendly, I always feel like I am inconveniencing them by ordering. Today was probably my worst experience there with the person at the register having quite the nasty attitude with me having to reload my Starbucks card and with my latte being made incorrectly twice.(Once with the incorrect milk and once with the incorrect syrup). I didn’t have them remake the second incorrect latte, it just wasn’t worth the bad attitude I would get. The Starbucks in the Kendall Square Marriot has much better service than here.

I love to go to a coffee shops when I’m working on my books, but the place has to have a reasonable coffee, Wi-Fi, restrooms and a comfortable table to sit at and, of course, write. Also, I have to feel that everything is perfect. How do I know? Well, if I go into a state of trance for a couple of hours, the place goes to my favourites list ;-) Have already found some coffee shops like these in Boston and one of them is this particular Starbucks. I love to stay here for a good number of hours and it’s even better when I can get to sit at the big table where several other people working inspire me.

There’s almost always a line here, but the baristas are friendly and quick. Pretty consistent with drinks and a few small tables and one long one if you’re planning to stick around.

A ‘bucks. There are so few and far in between… lol, but in all seriousness, there wasn’t anything special about this location. There is one in CT that’s amazing with a book store, but that was the only ‘bucks I’ve reviewed that was demonstrably different than any other ‘bucks. If you like their coffee, this is as good as any other one.

The cashier working was an older man and he was beyond rude to me. I tried to ask about the Starbucks reward program and he was very snide about it, and then laughed while making fun of me to the people standing behind me in line. I felt extremely victimized, especially in the middle of a stressful finals week, and definitely will not be coming back if he is still working. Besides that though, the physical environment was excellent and the service was very fast.(That part gets 5 stars!!) This would be an awesome café and study space with a kinder cashier! Thanks!

This is a really nice Starbucks. There are plenty of seats – I’ve never seen one this big. It’s a great place to meet up or study, albeit being a bit out of the way. The free wifi is pretty fast as well, and the service is always good. One time I messed up my order, and they re-made it for me the way I wanted.

Not my usual SB’s but the one in the Marriott had no salt for my venti salted caramel mocha. So I normally don’t get too bent out of shape over coffee but at $ 5.09 a pop I want it done right. Wait what? $ 5.30 at this location? But the kicker was that the reason I order the SALTED caramel mocha is for the SALT. Didn’t take my first sip until I got out the door and I tasted sugar not salt. FRIDAYFAIL!!! Side note: Staff very friendly and Bruce’s trivia questions are fun.

Easily the slowest service I’ve ever experienced at a Starbucks. 20+ minutes to get 3 iced teas, but no sense of urgency from the 3 employees.

Great place for lunch meet-up, or study spot. Plenty of outlets and a large table to really spread out if you can find the space. Ample seating, and it always seems busy! Only con: Not enough comfy seats.

OK, maybe I got there on a bad day, but my experience was awful. I got there on an January Thursday mid afternoon(3.30). So, no rush hour, I suppose. I wanted to have something hot to go and perhaps a banana. I was in a hurry. I got out of the Starbuck at 4.10!!! and with a Banana peel in my hands! In front of me I had a moderately long line of 5 – 6 people. I don’t know why, it took ages to move. Anyway, I ordered my hot chocolate and the banana. I ate the banana and then while waiting endlessly for my chocolate I couldn’t see any garbage bin to throw the banana peel. Keep in mind that it was ghastly cold, I had a bag-pack, another bag, some books and I wasn’t exactly moving smoothly. So I asked to the dude behind the behind the desk whether he might kindly get rid of the Banana peel. Very rudely he said that he was not allowed to do that … what??? aren’t you allowed to throw away a banana peel? He pointed at an unreachable garabe bin at the other side of a cramped room(in the mean time the line has gotten much longer) and I had no intention to steer across the crowd with all my stuff and the hot chocolate(thanks god after almost 35 minutes I got the damn thing). I’ve been tempted to drop the peel on the bench and leave. I didn’t though. So I went out of the Starbucks after 40 minutes with a Banana peel. Never again, thanks!

Crowded and Starbucky, also really really slow. Not too much else around to go local. They have the interwebs, and it’s pretty fast and easy to connect.

The slowest Starbucks in the world. And I’ve seen them all(yes every one). Don’t come in here in a hurry or you’ll be really disappointed. Someone at corporate said we need to have a store at the bottom of our statistics let’s put it on MIT’s campus, since they don’t know anything about statistics.

This is on par with other Starbucks locations I’ve been to in Boston, but what bumps it up a star is that there seems to be abundant seating and more power outlets for use by customers. It has a more open layout with long tables so folks with laptops and books can have the necessary space to do their work as they sip a latte.

Spacious, open early, and located at a convenient cross section of the MIT campus! I came out here to redeem my free birthday drink, but unfortunately the guy taking my order had never heard of this top secret Cap’n Crunch Frap that I so dearly wanted to try! :(This venti size frap I got wasn’t as delicious as I had hoped, but I’m sure their regular drinks are just like all the other locations. They have their new(?) Clover system here where they brew in small batches, and that looked fun to try out. For the tourists out there collecting Starbucks mugs, they’re sold here! :)

The 6 Cambridge Center Starbucks… is a Starbucks. It’s a pretty spacious Starbucks. Not as impressively huge as the one above Harvard Square Station, but still pretty big. It’s certainly better than the 2 Cambridge Center Starbucks two buildings down the street.

Maybe I’m a little biased because I used to work here, but this Starbucks is among the best in the metro-Boston area. Here are some reasons why you need to visit: — The café is HUGE. There are so many places you can read, do your homework, or people watch. Plenty of outlets so bring your computer, too! — There are large group tables, personal small round’ers, and couches. Depending on your mood, you can enjoy anything there. — This location has a Clover brewer. Don’t know what a Clover is? Imagine the best tasting coffee and multiply it by twenty. The machine is essentially a reversed French Press that keeps the oil of the beans which makes for the best brew — The baristas are super friendly! — Plenty of snacks to choose from — Large and non-locked restrooms — Large outdoor patio in the summer The only downfall: if you stay inside for longer than five minutes you will smell like a cup of coffee leaving(but it could be worse, right?!) Some good tips: The café generally does not have a huge rush after 6:00 p.m.(beware of the morning, lunchtime, and 3:00 — 5:00 rush, though!)

I really like this Starbucks. The workers are fast(even though it seems like there are not that many of them!), the drinks come fast and everyone is friendly. The trivia is fun too. And there is always seating available — inside and outside — which is rare around here.
