I have been going to Sylvia before she even opened up G-​Taso. I have curly hair and can say without a doubt or any hesitation that Sylvia is by far the best hair dresser I have ever had! And believe me I’ve tried plenty. I had to stop going for awhile due to my own financial situation but as soon as I was able, I was back in her able hands. She has nursed my hair back to health! I recently tried a «blow out» (keratin conditioning treatment) and she had to straighten my hair. Now I’ve straitened my hair a handful of times in my life and always at the salon. It had never looked as good or lasted looking as good as it did when Sylvia did it (see attached photo). I was blown away. I can not sing enough praise for Sylvia and her amazing expertise. She suggests the best treatments and care for my hair and as a result of listening to her, my hair has never looked better. She’ll even suggest lower cost products if you can’t afford the brands she carries in the salon.
I love the salon. Sylvia did an amazing job with it. I have stayed loyal because I know there is no where better. I see all the other hair dressers and their regulars and I see them as happy as I am when I walk out of this Salon. I drive 2 hours for my appointments and don’t even complain because it’s worth it!

I’ve been seeing Sylvia for 20+ years and she’s fabulous! She really listens to what you are looking for and provides suggestions if you are not sure. Sometimes what I want may not be the best for my features but she always makes it work. We’ve been through many different hair styles and colors and I loved them all! I highly recommend Sylvia. She’s the best!

Everyone at the salon is awesome and very talented. I’ve been with Diana for over 20 years and trust my hair to no one else!

I have been going to Diana for well over six years. She is an excellent stylist, colorist and does great highlights. I have extremely straight hair and I am very picky about my hair. Diana has never given me a bad haircut. I now see Diana every three weeks. She has great skills and her prices reasonable. I highly recomend Diana as your next stylist.

Absolutely love Sylvia. She does an amazing job. I used to go to the Aveda salon on Santana Row, but now I prefer to go to Sylvia. My haircuts are wonderful and I love my color every time. She gives great recommendations on what styles would look best. I now have a bunch of friends and their family that go to her and we’ve been going for a few years now. I highly recommend going to her.

Just went for the first time today. Scott was incredible and very knowledgeable.

I wish that I could rate this place with two separate reviews. One for my hair dresser and one for the salon.
First, Scott is out of this world as a hair dresser. He is down to earth, charges reasonable prices and can make even the most difficult hair look movie star fabulous. He gets 5 stars from me.
The salon… meh. It is tastefully decorated but definitely needs maintenance. Off of the top of my head, the paint on the floor is peeling up. They need to either repaint it or throw down some pergo or something similar on top of it. So the salon gets 3 stars.
The salon is worth tolerating for a good hair dresser. The other employees seem really down to earth but I didn’t get a chance to see their work.
