KC Nails & Skin Care Spa

This salon truly is «As good as it gets!» Unfortunately it is just off the beaten path in downtown Campbell, so, I fear it is missed by many, myself included until last week.
I had driven past Kim’s place many times and vaguely noticed it because there are beautiful, lush trees directly in front of the door, so if you’re not looking for it you may not see it and even if you do, it is difficult to make out the name and get the phone number while driving. In any case, I have been through several nail practitioners in the past year looking for someone who would do acrylic nails the way «I» want them done. I am a massage therapist and need them extremely short, rounded, and a bit thick to take any sharp edges off; obviously far from the fashion, but that’s not my purpose for having them. After 3 weeks of putting off going to yet another new salon, I remembered that little place I glimpsed a few times and drove down to see if I could walk-​in or at least get the phone number. It was early evening so she was already gone, but when I called the number on her door she answered.
Kim was easy to schedule with, was ON TIME, and gave me a warm welcome when I entered her elegant, though small shop. It felt like walking into a mini spa. The décor has a soft, warm Mediterranean/​Zen feel and is well appointed with all needed amenities.
I enjoyed Kim so much and she did such a thorough and exact job on my fill that I decided to have a pedicure as well. She pampered me in a multitude of ways that left me relaxed and very ready for my day of pampering other people.
Please, give this salon a try. Kim has a fun, warm and inviting though professional style and her services are a cut above the rest. I will be returning for my fill in 2 weeks and am having a waxing and other skincare services soon!

I love this little salon. It’s very peaceful and relaxing because it’s a private one-​on-​one type of experience. You don’t have to worry about other clients or other workers chit chatting while you’re trying to relax.
Kim is very sweet and down to earth and knows how to connect with her clients.
She offers spa manicures, pedicures, facials, and waxing.
I highly recommend making an appointment though since she is the only worker/​owner.

Woman-​owned business. Kim has 18 years experience doing manicures and pedicures and has her aesthetician’s license. I’ve gone to her since 1996 for my manicures and recommend her highly. She can do a full set of nails (acrylic, gel or both) in an hour and they will look neat, professional and natural. She does regular manicures that leave nails revitalized and fresh-​looking. I can go a month between manicures, if I choose, and will not lose or break a nail. I’m very hard on my nails, typing all day as well as being very active and I never have to worry about losing a nail. She is well versed in current trends in nail products and nail care and her experience shows when she’s working with a new customer.
She is concientious and keeps her instruments and equipment clean. She has not had problems with health violations like some of the salons in the area. She’s friendly, out-​going and a lot of fun to get to know.
