I LOVE this place. I am soooo happy that I finally found a place that is safe, friendly, carefree that I can learn how to paint, make new friends, and just enjoy the moment. If you want to learn how to paint like photograph, this is not a place for you. If you want to be creative freely, let your heart lead your brain(not the other way around), you got to check out this place. I bring a canvas to see Lori at least once a week just to get away from home, away from work, away from all the problems so I can enjoy a few hours ME time. So far I have painted 6 abstract acrylic paintings, and 1 collage. It was FUN! I even bring a few girlfriends and food and drinks just to make a girl’s art night. This is a GREAT place for girlfriend, couples, parents-teens, etc to have some fun together.

Attended a private collage instruction as a birthday party — it was great! The best part was seeing how we all created very different pieces when we were provided the same instruction and materials to choose from! Had so much fun, considering booking my daughter’s birthday party there(recommend 7 and up)!

I can’t describe how amazing this place is. The studio itself is very organized, clean and full of materials that you can use in your artwork and Lori is very friendly, helpful and nice. I LOVE the Sunday«Meditate and Create» which we meditate for 10 minutes and then start creating whatever we feel like, and I also go on the open studio times during the week. the whole experience has been fabulous for me since this is where i get to be myself, be free and away from everything else and also learn new creative art. The best thing is Lori knows and feels Art very well and she is always willing to teach you whatever you want. She also has fun workshops you can attend, like i just went to the«paper making» class recently and can’t wait to do it again!

This studio can be described in one word: AHHHMAZIING. Lori can honestly make anyone love art. I found out about her collage classes, and I am hooked. Lori’s definition of collage is beyond a normal person’s realm of understanding. It can involve painting, découpage, frames, yarn, and I always include my favorite item – glitter glue. She has such a variety of materials to use, and is more than willing to help with anything a student is working on. I became inspired from a piece of art on her wall and she guided me through making a similar piece that I ended up loving! Her studio is such a fun place to play and the collaging sessions are very calming. She is also such a funny person and tells some great stories. The one rule is: You can interrupt her speaking if you have an art question. This studio really is a safe haven from the outside world, and it has become a routine activity. The studio is close to the Alameda so you can also do some shopping or eating after the productive collaging sessions.

Lori’s workshops are really amazing. Lori has created a safe environment to create collage, providing guidance and an objective eye. And its loads of fun too. I only wish i had the time to take more of her classes. I highly recommend her classes for anyone regardless whether you are just beginning to explore your artistic side or you are an experienced artist.

I started to take lori’s class when she first started 3 years ago. The class works at «your» pace. People come from all walks of life and I feel the class changes their life in some way. Whether you take the class for a while or just enough to finish one piece you will really enjoy it.

Lori is a great artist, very innovated with her designs and medium she uses for her sculpture. I like how she utilizes everyday things. I have not been to her classes I am just familiar with her artwork. She is also a very patient person, and I am sure an awesome mentor.
