Brought in boots to add rubber sole to heels and service was above expectation by fixing scuffs on heels as well. Quick turnaround too, highly recommended!

A little pricey but great quality work. They brought my favorite shoes back to life from the restored heels to the shine.

The store saved my shoes and the guy working there gave me great service. I can now go home thrilled and pleased over a pair of old shoes! :) Awesome!

I have been bringing my man’s boots here every weekend for the past month to be shined. They do a wonderful job usually within an hour or so. This past time around, I decided to drop my favorite pair of boots off as well. The bottoms were torn up to the bone that when I walked, you could hear me coming from two blocks away. When I picked up my boots, they were practically brand new. The young man said they were a challenge because they basically had to put a whole new heel on the boot. They reconstructed the heel with wood and leather. I’m pretty sure you could bring any shoe problem in here and they would be able to work their magic. Prices are VERY reasonable for the quality work they provide!

Stay away. This guy is the worst. I dropped off some orthotics to be recovered and was told I could pick them up the next day at noon. When I went in a little after 12 they weren’t done. This was an quick job that he clearly waited until I showed up to realize they needed to be finished. That would normally be no big deal but the work was poorly done. It looks like an elementary school student did the cut out, so much for the skills of an experienced craftsman. The worst part is the lining he made turned out to be to small. For something that you are standing on all day almost every day having a lining in the bottom of your shoe that doesn’t cover the entire bottom, leaving your toes hanging over the edge is a huge problem. His only answer was he just copied the worn down, tattered existing version. It doesn’t take a rocket scientist to take one close look at them to see they are so worn down and ripped up that a copy of them wouldn’t account for the torn away parts or how they originally were. I guess this guy didn’t take high school geometry and can’t see how a curve will go. When I pointed this out he just kept saying«I copied the existing one» again and again. Then he would lay the old tattered one over in a way that would hide the difference. Rude doesn’t begin to describe his behavior to me. He said he just wanted his money, which was almost double what other cobblers charge. Foolish me thinking I was paying a bit extra to support a local business. He could have spent an extra ten minutes and few dollars in materials to make things right(and still turned a profit on the job) but he just wanted his money. When I told him I was going to write a Unilocal review he actually said he would sue me for writing a bad review. My response, go ahead. What sort of business tells you they can sue you for writing a bad review. You can’t. This is my actual experience here and rest assured Unilocal would’t exist if you could be sued for sharing your bad experiences. Here it is for the world to read. My final piece of advice to everyone, stay away from this place. You can get your work done for less by more professional people who will treat you with respect and have pride in doing their job well.

I absolutely love this place. Yes it is pricier than other cobblers, but I always know that work will be done right. They have repaired many heels and soles of my shoes and boots, and fixed a few of my designer purses. I am very happy with their work.

I had a leather strap from a purse that needed repair(needed to get smoothed out and conditioned), and the European Cobblery got it done in 10 minutes! I literally dropped it off and came right back after 30 minutes and it was all set ready to go. I was really grateful for them setting expectations of what they could and could not do, and it was easily priced out. A quick and easy fix(I don’t think it was too complicated), but it was nice to have a friendly, accessible leather repair shop closeby in Campbell. If you need leather repair, check them out. They didn’t disappoint me, so hopefully you have a similar experience of a visit!

This place is so good that it prompted me to stop being a Unilocal lurker and create an account to write a review. Having purchased $ 400 Allen Edmonds wing tips a few years ago, I needed to replace the rubber heels. Upon first walking in, I was greeted with a smile and with the confidence of someone that knows his craft. I was quickly quoted a fair price, and asked if I wanted the bottom of toes rubber guarded. These shoes are investment and I treat them as such, so I said yes. The best part was I picked up the shoes, fully conditioned and looking perfect the very next day.

Although I’ve had good experiences with this business in the past, they really let me down this time. I left off a pair of shoes for repair, was told they’d be ready in 3 days, then when I returned in 3 days, I was told the shoes couldn’t be located. The woman who helped me said she was dizzy and had to sit down, but she would call me back. She didn’t. When I phoned about an hour later, she said the shoes hadn’t been started on, but they’d be ready the following day. When I then phoned that day to confirm that they were ready, I was told it wouldn’t be possible to repair the shoes. So I was forced to pick them up unrepaired, at which point the personnel were unapologetic and frankly rude. «Oh, I had a bad back that day,» the cobbler said, «I wasn’t here, and the other cobbler doesn’t do this kind of thing, he thought I could do it but I can’t.» He refused to listen to my complaint — which was that I should have been told when I dropped them off that the repair was uncertain, and that I would be notified about whether it could be done. Since he wouldn’t listen to me in person, I am posting this negative review in order to warn others who patronize this business that they should be absolutely sure they’re talking to the cobbler who will actually do the work before they believe any claim that a repair can be made. And beware that at least two people at this business seem to have health problems compromising their work.

Service was as promised and on time with a smile. And like one of the other reviewers mentioned, my shoes have seen better days, but there was no judgement. I’ll definitely go back.

Don’t judge me. I get shoes repaired that are definitely not worth repairing. Because all my shoes are my favorite shoes. And I can’t very well throw out my favorite shoes, now can I? I have visited this shop 3 – 4 times now. It’s small and family-owned, but manages to squeeze in a decent seasonal selection of high end comfort shoes. I have purchased there before(summer flip flops that actually have arch support), but have really gone in for repairs. There is a very nice older gentleman, who has been super knowledgeable on what can be done. But more importantly, he didn’t so much as bat an eye as I put a pair of complete wrecks down on the counter(with broken or worn down every part of a shoe that can be broken or worn down), and asked him to fix them… because they were my favorite… The answer was yes. He could fix them. And he did. :-)

This place is awesome! We took my step son’s boots to them to be repaired, and they did a fantastic job! They patched the leather, and replaced the soles, and they look AMAZING! The prices are reasonable, and the staff is super friendly. They also have an excellent selection of crazy socks, and flip flops. Go in and check these guys out, especially if you are at the Campbell Farmer’s Market.

I brought my bag in to be cleaned and was really happy with the price and the outcome. They are knowledgeable in their craft and for the price I paid, my bag was cleaned and conditioned AND sealed. I didn’t even pay 40 $!!! I will definitely use them again!

Family businesses are great but miscommunication is not. First the daughter gave me info on their procedure of repairing the base of my boot that I originally came in for. I was convinced when she up sold me to have the actual heel cap replaced with it because she said it would help the heels on my boot last longer. Then I was passed along to her mom who quoted me a price of $ 25 and informed me that they will call me if the price should be higher for some reason. So I come back with $ 25 since I was not given any phone calls and the husband/man of the shop tells me my total was $ 45. When I explained that I was quoted much less he was nice enough to give me a discount of $ 35– still ended up paying more but I appreciated his gesture. When I wore my boots to a birthday event I came home and the base was already peeling up like it was when I first brought them in. I am completely disappointed that I wasted my time here, was charged more for their mistakes AND up sold, and still ended up with a busted boot! If I still had my receipt I would have gone back to show them but all they give you is a little ticket like you when you go to pick up cheap dry cleaning– matching their cheap work! Terrible :(

I was so happy to find this shoe repair place. I brought in my favorite leather purse and they sewed the strap back in place. They had to go through the lining and it turned out great, you can’t even tell. I’m so glad they opened up locally.

OMG! I’m absolutely stunned and can’t believe that European Cobblery has opened in downtown Campbell! This is one of the finest businesses in the Bay Area. The quality of their work for shoe and purse repair is second to none. The shoes that they carry are of the best quality and while they do cost a little, they are worth it. I have bought my last 2 pair of boots, Jafa from Israel, from them and each of them are so comfortable and made of the softest leather. I can wear them all day, everyday, something I’ve never been able to do. This is a family owned business that cares about the quality of their work, their customer relationships and fill a much needed void in Campbell. Need socks… they have the best. Need a good quality leather purse… they have some that you won’t find in other stores that are gorgeous and practical. They carry children to adult sizes in shoes and socks. Welcome to Campbell European Cobblery!
