California Nails has 3 nail stations and 2 pedicure stations and seems generally sanitary – the tools are cleaned in one of those UV toaster ovens, and as my toes dried I saw them spray down the foot tub with disinfectant. I was the only person there on a weekday afternoon. The woman who did my toenails was kind and talkative, and she did a decent job. $ 13 manicures and $ 25 pedicures are a little steep, as far as I’m concerned, but for being in the middle of nowhere in Candler, I’ll take what I can get.
