Best phở in the Valley! Easily overlooked due to the location(strip mall at Roscoe and Topanga – across the street from Lowes) but absolutely delicious. The filet mignon phở melts in your mouth and the broth is so flavorful. Chicken curry is perfect balance of spicy and creamy. Fast service and consistently great food. My bf and I will definitely become regulars. The owner is a sweetheart, too!

This is a very good spot. I was quite surprised since the location is not very close to the main drag of Topanga Canyon. I stopped in on my way home and I was in the mood for some bun. I had a long day at work and was hungry. I found this place online and I was not expecting much, just some decent bun. The server promptly sat me and I looked over the menu.(They do have a Vegan section, for those that are not meat eaters) :D I ordered some grilled pork and shrimp bun and it sounded really good. When I got the food, it was not in a big bowl as it is served in most other restaurants, it was on a plate. All of the parts were separated. At first I was huh, then I thought about it and I actually like it better this way. Note: this is also good for those allergic to peanuts since they are separated and for those of us that do not want certain ingredients, it can be easily separated. I liked it this way because I could take a little noodles with and veggies and then choose the pork or shrimp. I didn’t have to dig through the bowl to get that last piece of shrimp lol. The service was ok, it was attentive at first, but then it went down. They really was not anyone in there except for the owner and I’m guessing the wife and friends but my waitress was in the back doing something and I kept on looking back to see if she came back. The other people did see me but they did not go get her. When she did come back I wanted to take the rest of my meal home but she had a hard time understanding what I wanted. If the food was not so good this place would get a 2 or 3 star rating. Take out might be better, but I like my food hot.

Can I just say that Kim is so sweet!!! My son and I came in for their specialty Phở with Filet Mignon. I’ve never had such flavorful phở bowl in my life. She was so sweet to offer a small bowl of noodles and broth for Maxx. She made me feel like I was at my aunts house for night of phở. I will be coming back for my weekly phở fix. Thank you for bringing more Vietnamese cuisine to the Valley Co Kim!!!

BESTPHOINALLOFLOSANGELES. seriously I came here twice a week when I lived in the valley. Now whenever I’m in town, I have to stop by. I get the hainan chicken. Perfect balance of sweet umami and savory(this will be my last meal before I die). And the filet mignon phở great flavored broth. Ask for chilli oil. Super fast service and the owner Kim is like family. Don’t take my word for it. Go try it yourself.

WoW !! The BESTPHO in San Fernando Valley that includes Simi Valley. Savory flavors and creative menu. BUT what separates«PHO C.T.» from the rest, is that it is one of the cleanest restaurants in the city. The front door handle will NOT stick to your hand as you enter this owner run establishment. The whole restaurant is very clean. I like that in a restaurant. And the food is real fresh and clean tasting. NO mouth full of MSG(MSG makes my mouth swell up). No over salted meals here. Just fresh and healthy Vietnamese food, like your mama would make you(if your mama was Vietnamese). Live MUSIC on Saturday and Friday evenings. The least expensive date you been on since 1973. You know your first real date in high school. Go find out for your self. PHO C.T. is the BEST !

I love this place! The manager is so nice and the filet mignon phở is great. I usually call ahead for pick up and they always have it ready in about 10 min.

My husband and I have been here a few time and we have to say our first time dinning here was probably the best. After we’ve notice a few things here and there that makes us want to find another phở restaurant in the area. Don’t get me wrong, food taste great but service sick badly. So I’ll share a few downsides we’ve came across. Of course everyone has a different experience but hopefully the management will read our reviews to help better their services. : 1. Phở soup was served half the size of our bowls. 2. We’ve had little serving of meat as in less than 5 pieces in our soup which were tiny piece. Hunger wasn’t satisfied. 3. It’s a one person show with the server. It’s deserves. «-10» rating. I say this because A– I had to wait to literally beg 7 times(I kept count) for my drink. B– if you want a refill you have to ask rather than waitress coming by checking if you cause if u don’t ask you won’t get a second beverage. C– They desperately need more servers. They had a new girl as a server which did a great job but the managers made her follow their lead. Had the managers let her do her job I’m sure she would of done a better job. 4. if it’s a busy night it might take 15 minutes just to get the menu but then the server rushes off before you can thank you or place you beverage order like most places. 5. would be nice to have your bill brought to your table rather than going to the register to pay. 6. Long green table cloth and decors needs to be updated. 7. The live band tonight was good but I think they went A bit to far by dimming the light all the way and inviting guests to dance. It felt like I was in a night club instead. 8. I’m vegan and a piece of shrimp tail was on my dish Which isn’t good 9. Unprofessional and unorganized 1. Tasty vegan dishes Hopefully management can makes some changes to help better their business for their sake and us customers. My rating is based and all the negative feed back from my own experience.

I stopped by to get some dinner, and the place was crowded at 7:30PM. Good sign — I thought. One waitress working her tail off, but she was polite, and friendly. I ordered egg rolls and the lemon grass chicken. The lemon grass chicken was the level of spicy I like(medium), but the onions were in HUGE pieces and not cooked through. Yuck! I pushed them aside. I had to ask 2X for my egg rolls(they came after I ate the main dish) — numerous mistakes were made for the orders to other tables too, not just mine. The egg rolls were peppery hot, I mean uneatable. So I cut them all open, and they were loaded with black pepper. Not sure if someone just forgot to mix the pepper throughout the meat mixture or if this is the typical egg roll served here. At that point, I got up and paid and left. I would NEVER recommend this place to anyone.

What a strange phở place… My number one rule when it comes to restaurants is, «If it’s empty at lunch or dinner, it’s a bad restaurant». That’s before looking at Unilocal of course. And Phở CT was empty –at 12:30PM, prime lunch hour. It was DEATHLY empty, not a single table was occupied, no music on the stereo and not a person came to seat us for a minute maybe. It wasn’t like they had just opened, either. Their dining room is quite large with green tablecloths abound and even live music equipment in the corner. As a musician myself, the worst feeling I can imagine is playing to an empty restaurant. They only play evenings, so maybe, just MAYBE there are people who come for dinner. As for the phở, it was quite good in fact. Usual phở accoutrements like hoisin, sriracha, lime and basil, etc. Phở needed some more salt maybe(fixed it with hoisin) but it had quite a lot of spice flavor, cloves and anise really shone through in the broth. Vietnamese iced coffee was strong and potent as expected, but gone in three sips like every other Vietnamese restaurant’s coffee. Service was very friendly and the main lady(I presume the manager) is friendly and gave us recommendations. I sure do hope her business isn’t failing, because lunch time is prime time for phở– and nobody is coming. Like 90% of phở joints, you pay at the counter. Later on while eating, two gentlemen came in, as separate parties. Maybe this is the type of place that furniture brokers and used car dealers come to unwind and relax, a spot where they know is quiet and secluded and has pretty good Vietnamese food. I’m never in this area for dinner, but I sure hope they get business in the evenings. Honest and good phở place, but being the only table in a large restaurant makes your dining experience awkward and even unenjoyable. Go give these people some business, they have a nicely sized parking lot and fine phở.

Just. Don’t. Bún on a platter — nuff said. Unless this is now a thing??? Then, bad smelling beef is also a thing; thank goodness they only give small, tiny, token pieces scattered around and hidden among a lot of onions… must’ve been a good onion sale somewhere… Spring rolls were’t fresh. Service is non-existent. No follow up, no water refill, no «can i get you anything else?»; had to go up to he counter to pay for the bill. Couple of people were lolly-gagging at the back but none felt it necessary to ring us up so we can get the heck out of there. Not a welcoming place and the proprietors have the same level of hospitality. I go out for the experience, the level of service and of course the food. This place leaves a bad taste. Go somewhere else.

Nice place, lovely people. Great music on this Thursday with Gary Ballen performing. This was our first outing for Viet food & what we had was delicious. We had the egg roll appetizer that came with a yummy peanut sauce, I made some of my own with Sirracha & Soy & that hit the spot. We shared the large Phở Filet Mignon & it was tasty & filling. Our first so it was tasty & the meat was tender if not hearty, I believe it is meant to be a light noodle soup, light on veggies like a miso but quite tasty. Our friends had the Pork Chop which we tasted & it was Fantastic, tender & absolutely delicious. That’s what we’ll get next time. I guess you can say that this is Phở Real !!!

Stopped here before work for some quick take out since I forgot to bring lunch from home. I really wanted to try their phở but phở is best enjoyed right away so I decided to hold off on the phở and try something else on the menu. I ordered the shrimp fried rice and it was okay. Mind you, I know it was silly to order a typically Chinese dish from a Vietnamese restaurant but I wanted something quick and simple! The rice was dry and not very flavorful, though they were generous with the shrimp. I’ll definitely be back on a nice cold day to give the phở a shot but anything else on the menu is probably hit or miss. The staff, however, were very friendly and attentive! I appreciated how quickly they helped me and had my order ready! And the taro smoothie they prepared for me was DELICIOUS!
