The Body Shop

I have been a patron of the body shop for some time, I usually shop online however from time to time I will come into this store. Maddie is a great sales associate and very knowledgeable of the products. Every time I stop by the Store Manager is also very pleasant and sweet. I love the body shop and have shared their products with friends and family.

First of all, I had contacted another The Body Shop location, and was so frustrated by their horrible and non accommodating service. I decided never to support that location again!
Then, I call the Topanga Plaza location for — the Body Shop. Desiree was very friendly, listened to my frustration about my expired membership. She helped find solutions and walked me through how she would help out with my birthday month.
She assured me that I would be very happy and taken care of. I drove out to the store the next day, and the manager, Ann, took WONDERFUL care of me. She was patient, understanding, and effective at handling my issues!
I left as ONE HAPPY CUSTOMER! Thank you Ann & Desiree. I’ll contact customer service to share my story. You guys made a BIG difference! :-)

So this review has nothing to do with their products as they are good but more with the staff at this location. Went in yesterday and the employees were so rude and unhelpful and it almost seemed like they thought they were doing us a favor by answering questions. I hope management has a talk with their employees that were working yesterday…

I went there cause my friend recommended their tea tree treatment for breakouts. I was helped immediately. They were all so nice. I was shown the product I was looking for, the sales clerk also asked what type of skin I had, I said oily, so she recommended a moisturizer that would help. And since I was buying two items, she said I get one for free! So I picked the tea tree facial scrub. My face is already clearing up! Its only been 2 days! Love this place and products! The body shop is amazing i have been using its products for many years. And i have never been disappointed!

Sales associate Diana is AWESOME! This was my first time in The Body Shop in a very long time and I was using a groupon. Needed to pick up some every day items like lotion, eye gel and body scrub. Diana was knowledgable, helpful, not clingy and certainly knew her merchandise. The products were A-​Ok and I will be back!

Oh my gosh. I could spend hundreds here! Love every single product and the environment is lovely! All associates are super friendly. I love it here!

Went there for the first time this past weekend, I usually go to the Northridge store since it’s closer to me.
Just like Northridge, this store’s customer service was great. Johna (hope I spelled it right) went above and beyond, she even called me back after I left the store to tell me another store had the item I needed.
It was a pleasure visiting the store. Very nice.

Their body butter is amazing. I had a 50% off coupon (the best kind, really) so I was able to stock up on m favorite kind of body butter: aloe. Really nice light scent and perfect for winter. The other body butters are very heavily scented, and since I like to wear perfume, it would be overkill. The salespeople are always really helpful and nice. I only got attitude from one once, but I suspect that she was a seasonal worker because I’ve been to this store several times and I’ve only seen her that one time. It can get a little pricey, but just wait until they have a good sale. It’s easy to stock up because most of their products last up to a year, sometimes more. I also used two Groupons here, and I highly recommend going that route because you can use it in conjunction with a sale.

This past Saturday I experienced a problem placing an online order with The Body Shop. The offer was 40% off everything online only. I also have a Love My Body card that provides an additional 10% off AND I have accumlated points to provide an additional discount. I tried countless times to place the order but the site failed to provide the 40% discount. As online customer service is not available on the weekend and I happened to be in the Westfield Topanga Plaza on Sunday I decided to stop into the store. I explained the problem to the sales girls. The store manager, Brittany Gleeson did not hesitate at all to provide me with all of the discounts and even added to additional points to my membership card. She was extremely accomodating and very sweet. I was quite impressed. It seems so difficult to come by exceptional customer service nowadays but that is exactly what was provided by Brittany and The Body Shop.

The service I this store is the best! I love the body shop. The staff is very attentive, informative, and friendly. They do not push you to buy products.

Great products… And a great company. (The products are all natural ingredients and free from animal testings. The company is a strong believer of human rights and is very conscious about the environment)
I’ve been using the skin care products for years. The body lotions and creams are amazing; Plenty of textures and smells to chose from.
I love love love the Brazilian Nut Body Butter…
Recently I started using only Body Shop goodies for my daily facial needs.
I love the Green Tea, Aloe Vera and Vitamin D lines… So so good! And the results are great too.
Check out the Vitamin D Night Cream and the Wise Woman Eye Cream.
I also started using the make up. I just purchased an Oil Free Liquid Foundation. It blends so well with my skin tone and doesn’t feel heavy/​sticky at all. Love it! The bronzer and blushers are lush too.
So great company, great products… Prices are very fair. You will always find amazing deals at the shop so pop into the BodyShop at weekends and Holidays, so worth it.
Get the point card for discounts and money off!
I should also mention that the ladies at the shop will always help. Ive always been approached and helped at any branch of this shop.
