First of all, let me say that the subcontractor who came out for the actual installation was a very nice person and seemed to know what he was doing. The fence does not look that bad. Now the negative part. This business nor the people who work there seem to have any idea what is going on within their own company. Their price was not the lowest cost but I decided to go with them simply because the neighbors used their service. That was my mistake. I called and set up the appointment and was put on the schedule. I was told that they would call me to confirm the date. No call. I was also told that the job would be completed in 6 – 8 hours(my neighbors were done in that time). I had to call the day before to make a confirmation. I took off from work due to this installation. The day of installation, no body showed up at 9am as promised. I called in at 12. They said crew would be out. 3pm… nobody. I finally got a manager around 4pm and he said they had issues with morning job so got delayed. WHAT!!! If they were supposed to come at 9, then I should be the first installation. They promised to come Saturday. They arrived sometime in the early afternoon and of course I had to tell them how I wanted the fence. Apparently they were going to just install it however they wanted(of course in my neighbor’s property). Not sure why they had to keep leaving the job site but apparently they didn’t have all the items they needed. Couldn’t finish in 1 day. They came Sunday afternoon. Same thing. Couldn’t finish the work. I had to take off work part of Monday so they could finish and get my approval for the work. This company cost me 2 days of PTO from my job due to their incompetence. When I voiced my opinion to the installation manager, he apologized and told me to hold on to the bill as they would see what they could do for my inconvenience. Two days later, no call back from his but the billing department. I told them to contact the manager. He finally called me and told me that the owner didn’t care and that I still owe them the full balance. I’m not trying to get a free fence put in but I’m expecting something from them for putting me in this situation. OVERALL: Do not use this company for any fencing needs. They don’t do any work themselves and sub contract out all the work. They could care less about your time or your opinion.

Its been 5 months, contract is not fulfilled. Wrong fence(aluminum vs steel). wrong gate. did not work around a tree as agreed on. This is just 150′ of fence! They changed the contract without contacting me and included the change in a final invoice. Their change isn’t even completed(and I did not agree to the change). The contract was a sham; their change was deception. I wish I could simply get my deposit back; they can come get their fence. I’ll start over with someone more ethical and competent.

I had a 6′ wood fence installed by Apex in 2008, within the first year my gate stopped closing properly due to improper support. We personally added additional support bottom line was for the size gate and angle they did not properly support it! In 2014 I notice some waves in the fence line and after a few storms section by section the fence has fallen due to rotten post. I have called Apex 3 times to come out and look at the fence with no returned calls. Neither of my neighbors fences have fallen and their fences were put up years before mine. I saw a news report on WSB about the post problem on fences that were installed after the EPA changed guidelines. I am not expecting that after 8 years to not have to pay anything but why the company won’t call me back to look at it is unacceptable. They used a faulty product and now will not help in resolving the issue!

These guys are really good. 1) HONEST. Above all else, I felt like I wasn’t being screwed by them. 2) QUALITY. I love the work they did and it has the feel of something that’s going to last! 3) REASONABLE. I paid a fair price, maybe even on the inexpensive side. All in all, great job on my new gate!!!
