Classes are only 30 minutes for beginner white belts. Doesn’t seem like it is enough time. Though they increase to 45 for all higher belts. Some instructors seem very knowledgeable. It varies who you get, so it is a crap shoot. Instruction seems dry compared to other places and martial arts, but they add more leadership/development in place of it. *They don’t know how to handle disruptive kids. The minimal 30 minutes is not only enough, but when they cannot handle them this only leaves a minimal amount of time. I even put it to their attention, but they just shrug their shoulders and do nothing to improve the situation. **update, have not seen disruptive kid anymore. Things have gotten better. If you want to take your kid somewhere to learn martial arts, I recommend you go somewhere else. If you want to brush some basics MA, for fun, and develop leadership then this is good for the kids. This is kind of a Boy Scout dojo. Also, preview/try any martial art instruction before signing up.
