As the holiday season ensues, so does the hectic undertaking of Christmas shopping. Last night my boyfriend and I stopped in to have dinner before we began fighting the retail madness that is The Strip. We were absolutely blown away at the level of service and quality of food at Carrabba’s. Our server Christine was very kind and knowledgable of the menu items, which was helpful when making suggestions. My boyfriend got the ribeye steak special and I got the scallops and shrimp entrée. Both dishes were beautifully seasoned and cooked, we found ourselves eating off of eachothers plates the entire meal. His steak was ordered medium, and cooked to perfection! We will absolutely be back!

First time stopping here and the bread is so fresh nice oil and spices to dip. Love the salad and was nice to have dressing on the side. A lot of choices for dinner. I ordered the spaghetti and pomodoro sauce nice spice to it and grated parm cheese. Fiancé ordered tilapia balsamic glaze and garlic mashed. The service was terrific

I have always been a big fan of Carrabba’s. I have been coming to them for years, and they continue to not disappoint. The fresh baked bread is served hot out of the oven with olive oil and seasoning. The featured soup… sausage and lintel is fabulous. Always makes me laugh when they call it the«feature» or «soup of the day»…it is always that… at least every time i have been there. I had the veal parmesan. It is not on the menu, but all you have to do is ask for it. It is $ 20.99, which is only $ 2.50 more than the chicken parm. If you are looking for some good Italian with a large, diverse menu, and you don’t mind a chain, I recommend giving Carrabba’s a try.

Very disappointed and definitely not up to the Carrabbas in our SW Florida home. Over-salted main courses slapped onto plates. Dried-out pasta. Barely adequate mixed drinks. Good service and cold suds just don’t compensate for so-so food. This franchised location needs a makeover.

Basically a step up from Olive Garden. Standard bread, really skimpy side salads, and standard pasta. Kinda disappointing I feel carrabbas has gone down hill a lot. We were there today and my son ordered the shrimp and scallops with linguini and he has 3 scallops and 2 shrimp. Are you serious??? This place is going down hill.

WARNING: if you’re hungry for a delicious Italian meal, this is not the place. Disappointed in any Italian restaurant that doesn’t offer a meatball or sausage sandwich. These are only offered on the menu with spaghetti, not even listed as a side. Had to request bread with the meal. Mixed drink not as ordered. Salad absolutely drenched in dressing. More broccoli on the side than chicken in one entrée. Another entrée that was supposed to have chicken with the pasta had none at all. This pasta was also quite dry, no sauce over it. Service was slow, we waited for refills as the entire staff gathered at the bar to look at someone’s cell phone. Large mirror over the bar is disturbing. Overheard other patrons complaining about their meals so we weren’t the only unsatisfied diners. Everything is overpriced. If I could give zero stars, I would. Go down the road to Papa Bear’s, a REAL Italian restaurant. You’ll be glad you did.

Avoid this place til renovation is over. It’s like a loud and uncomfortable cafeteria. I had great anxiety here today and this is a regular stop, one of my favorite places to eat. They have jammed many more tables into the center of the restaurant. I’m sad their quality has slid during renovations

Such a mediocre salad. Some romaine, two scrawny olives and very musty shredded carrots. The lasagne was just ok. It would have been a bit better if it was hot. Can’t see why people think the food here is so great.

I’m a bit shocked at the low ratings because this was one of my best meals during my business trip in OH. This was one of the best Italian franchise restaurants I’ve eaten at. Just got the Pasta Weesie(fettuccine alfredo with shrimp sautéed in a garlic, lemon butter, white wine sauce with sautéed mushrooms and scallions) w a diet coke. They brought over cheese and tabasco sauce as well as hot pepper flakes. I was a happy camper! Just wish I had enough room to eat the entire dish! Attentive service. PS — Their bread was good too.

Went to meet friends here for dinner… definately not my choice! Anyways, ordered the $ 15 deal they have on mondays, appetizer, chicken fettuccine, and salad. Salad and brushcetta app were decent. but the chicken fettuccine was disgusting. the fettuccine was thin like those noodles you het in a frozen dinner and were all clumped together. I realize this is a chain. but a high end chain k own for pasta… I ll stick with the 99 cent can of chef boy ar dee next time… This place is terrible.. 1 star because service was good

Terrible, overpriced food. Wait staff was horrendous. Our server has Palsy or something, he was shaking so bad. Another server had her CHILD there while she was on the clock. Salad had WAY too much dressing on it. The chicken parmesan had one tiny little piece of thin chicken breast that was overcooked, the chicken bryan was the same thing. Appetizers were anything but appetizing. Will not be going back.

I am disappointed to give such a bad review of a place that I have generally liked every time I go. Unfortenetley I tried a few dishes that just weren’t very good. The two stars I did give were for the service, it wasn’t great but on Mother’s Day it wasn’t bad and the app we got which was the arancini. Those were quite good with sausage in them. I got the conchiglie al formaggi which is a fancy name for shell pasta and cheese sauce and my husband got the lobster Mac. I thought both were pretty bad, the sauce and the cheese like separated and I really didn’t even want to eat it. My mom got the prosciutto wrapped pork tenderloin and that was pretty good, good flavor and cooked well. I guess I have just had good meals and experiences here in the past and this one let me down. Grated it was Mother’s Day but I still can’t let it slide. I will probably be back and give them another chance tho because I know for a chain it’s pretty good normally.

I love this place. I know it’s a chain, but they got it right. Items to order while you are here: filet mignon, lentil sausage soup, calamari ricardo. Their pizza is pretty good. I like to sit up at the chefs table, they will usually throw you something if you are interested in what they are preparing. Delicious bread and oil while you wait. I have only had dessert there once, I’m usually to stuffed by the end of the meal. Oh and their blackberry sangria is that fire.

It was ok. We went on a Saturday night, didn’t have to wait long, maybe 20 minutes. My food came out cold, everyone else’s was warm and they said their food was alright. Our appetizer was good, but I don’t know if I will be back.

I’m not sure why I hadn’t reviewed this place sooner. I used to frequent this restaurant on a weekly basis when it opened. I moved out of town and now make it a requirement to revisit Every time I travel back to Ohio. Their wood fire pizzas can not be topped.

Chicken Bryan is pretty good. Spiedino Di Mare is usually pretty tasty, especially with fettucine alfredo for the side. They have a great Caesar salad dressing IMO. When they have heirloom tomatoes in stock the Caprese salad is tasty, although light on the amount of tomato you get. I would definitely eat here but it would be my 4th or 5th choice for Italian in Canton. Not bad at all. Not great.

Four stars predominately for the service. The waitress was FANTASTIC with my 3 year old niece and gave her pizza dough to play with while waiting for our meal and she thought that was about the best thing ever. Food was standard for Carrabba’s but it appears they got rid of my favorite salad since the last time I’ve been to a Carrabba’s(sad).

I’ve heard lots of people say Carrabba’s is the best out of all the Italian chain restaurants, but after two experiences there, I am not really blown away by them. There are some things I do like — I’m a sucker for good bread/olive oil/spices and a caesar salad, both of which they do well. I ordered one of their tomato-based pasta dishes with spinach, artichokes, mushrooms, and chicken, and my husband had the lobster ravioli. I was pretty disappointed with my dish — nothing special, heavy on the pasta/light on the toppings, and something we both agreed we could have made better at home. My husband ordered the lobster ravioli, and as he said, they tasted ‘pre-packaged’ and like something we could have bought for half the price at the grocery store. Although the location is convenient and not as crazy as Belden Village, I think we will actually just stick with Olive Garden when we need a place to eat out and want some Italian food.
