bad part of town bad crime violence and bad food plague this place
the owner is out of his mind. more than 10 years ago someone fired a shot gun blast into the drive thru.
they may have made the drive thru better but that is not all the problem. the neighborhood is bad. many years ago a man shot someone brutally in the parking lot.
there are many other problems. the food is bad the long wait for the bad food makes me not want to come back
the owner loves his restaurant he should move to a better part of town.

This used to be an awesome wonderful great family restaurant back in the day. now thanks to the great neighborhood that it’s in the food is slow the service is okay. but who wants to take their life in their own hands in the hood.

I have had a lot of people tell me how great Walther’s Café is… so my expectations were maybe set a little too high. I have had a variety of different items there. From steak to pasta to the mac and cheese… I really have not had anything which meets my expectations. It is in a horrible horrible horrible part of town to boot.

March 1, 2014. Came for my first and last visit. Your so called «Chili Cook Off» was just ending when I walked in. Huge fight was going on at the bar and was too busy to sit at so my party of 3 sat in a booth. Took us 30min to get a waitress to even put in order for drinks. Then it took a 2^nd waitress to take our order again for drinks (and at that point we knew what food we wanted to order but she was clueless and super overwhelmed) Waitress apologized for wait and said it’s «Chili Cook Off» day and she has 4 trainee waitresses… Wait, your busiest day of the year with the most drunken people imaginable and you have 1 experienced waitress and 4 who had no idea how to take drink orders??? How do you even train 4 people at one time when you can’t even train 1? So it took 45 min to get drinks that we had to order twice, then 1 hour 15 min for food order. We came in at 3:30PM and left at 5:15PM. Food was not impressive at all, mixed drinks were horrible (bloody mary tasted like straight tomato juice), server spilled ranch all over my showes, we never got more ranch and she brought ketchup for fries after they were already cold and I got charged for a drink I didn’t even order but she brought it to the table and said it was on the house. We will never go back here, even to the drive through. I won’t suggest anyone in their right mind eat here unless you want to waste time and money. Plus you might get shot on the way from the parking lot to the way in, unless you get caught in the drug dealing that’s happening in their parking lot. BEWARE, bad service all around. It’s surprising this place has been around this long, IT SUCKS.

Good cheap eats with friendly, efficient waitstaff. Good broasted chicken and burgers. Crap on tap but may have a few good bottled beers, just don’t expect a wonderful selection of craft beers.
