I like this place now only because I feel like it’s a family/​Canton classic. The food I got recently was pricey for the quality, the rootbeer wasn’t anything special like I remember it being, and the girls dress very immodestly. Our waitress was nice but didn’t check on us even when my lights were on.

My favorite thing from here is the creamed chicken sandwich. I also like the fried mushrooms and how they have you salt your own fries. The root beer is good, and my family really likes the hamburgers. Be aware that it is CASH ONLY and the close when it rains hard/​storms. (and in case you did not know this is a drive in, as in an eat in your car place)

Terrible customer service with a burger that you can make at home for a fraction of the price. Took them three times to get my simple order right, and then argued with me that I was wrong. When I asked for my burger to be without onion, and all they did to «correct it» was to take the bun off and put a new one on. The same burger with a bite taken out of it covered in cheese, still littered with onion. Awful.

I’ve been going to Woody’s a dozen times a year since 1977. The food is as good as ever, and the service is great. Anyone who writes a negative review is simply looking for something else, or had an attitude going in. This is not some upscale 4-​star sit-​down formal restaurant… it’s a fantastic little family-​owned outdoor stand. Take the family… unlike what Lindsay C wrote, the girls do not dress inappropriately… well, for church, maybe… but not for this service. We all LOVE Woody’s… my wife and I, our kids, and our grandkids.

After hearing so many good reviews, I was excited to try this establishment. The chicken sandwiches were very good, but the root beer left a lot to be desired. The plastic mug was not chilled and there was no ice in the drink. The root beer was warm and flat. Even more unappetizing, was the attire that the girls wore to deliver food. The one girl wore shorts as short as under wear and she decided a tube top would be appropriate with those shorts. Delivering food to the tables and wiping them down did not look professional or sanitary in that outfit. A dress code needs to be enforced.

I dream of these burgers during their off season! Woody’s root beer is fantastic, the atmosphere is great! They hit it out of the park with the food. If you are craving ice cream drive down the road to Taggarts for a homemade treat! Woodys burgers are unmatched though!

What pleasant, fun memories Woody’s brings back. We lived on Fulton Road for a few years and were able to walk to Woody’s and Taggarts’s both.
The root beer is the best ever. Good, old-​fashioned root beer served in glass tankards. I’ve never had any sandwich or side order that wasn’t hot and good tasting.
Once in a while I’ll order a float and they are yummy.
Visit while in Canton and see if you agree. Just off I-​77 at the Fulton/​HOF exit.

This is a classic root beer stand. Quality burgers, great fried mushrooms & home made root beer. I also recommend the creamy chicken sandwich. I mentioned to the server that this place is similar to Swenson’s (a Northeast Ohio favorite). She replied with «yea but we have hot girls that work here» If you are near the Pro Football Hall of Fame, this is a great place to grab a bite to eat.
