I visited this business to have my watch battery replaced in my Luminox. They were open at 9AM which was nice because other locations I checked online did not open until 10AM or later. The battery in my watch was changed while I waited and extremely fast. It was a good deal only $ 5.40. You should know that they do not accept credit cards or debit cards for an order total of less than $ 25, make sure you bring CASH. I would recommend this business for anyone that needs their watch repaired or a battery replaced

Called Mike and he answered the phone to tell me that they are closed. When I asked him a question he decided he didn’t want to answer, muttered something and hung up. Thank you Mike for showing me that I don’t want to give you my business even if you were open!

I’m a collector of high end watches and before I discovered this shop I used to have drive all the way to downtown L.A. to my regular jeweler which was always a pain. But now for the most part I just bring my watches here to Mike. His prices on batteries can’t be beat but he’s also done engravings for me, polishing and even went of his way and taken my Rolex watches in for servicing for me, saving me a trip downtown! Customer service at its finest!

You get what you pay for, although the price of watch battery repair is a steal be ready to get your watch back scratched in the metal lid that needs to be removed to access the battery… I brought in 6 watches to have the battery replaced and all 6 came back scratched in the back, which sucks cause I take care of my watches and now it’s scratched by some so called battery replacement place… but again the old adage of you get what you pay for, I don’t know what kind of tool this technician uses but it seems to not do the job right, one of the scratched was so bad it even scratched the black body of my watch, oh and he will rush you in and out so you’ll only notice any imperfections when you get home, that’s my bad should have checked while I was there, good thing too he didn’t mix up my watches, as there are watches lying all around the repair area, it’s a good thing there are still honest people left here in the world cause anyone can just walk in and be like yeah that’s my watch, if you guys get the drift. Don’t get me wrong he is a very nice guy but a little care in removing the battery lid won’t hurt any one. Again the price is a steal but you are gonna get what you pay for, and now with my luck all the batteries will die at the same time. I may consider this place again for my Casio G shocks since tiny screws hold the lid, and since some of my G shocks need more than one battery. Great price but I’ll say it again you will get what you pay for.

Amazing and phenomenal service. Great people who work there. If you mention if you are a student, he will gladly give you a discount. Very thoughtful owner. I can’t promise you that you can get a student discount but it happened to me when I went to get a ring resized. Feel free to check it out everyone. You’re welcome! :)

I have been going to Mike’s jewelry since I moved to SCV25 years ago. His repairs are flawless and amazing. He is truly a craftsman. His décor is a bit outdated but he is honest and reliable. I trust him with all my jewelry including my wedding ring. Don’t see what you want in his cases? Ask him and he will get it for you at a reasonable price, no coupon required or sale to wait for. I highly recommend him if you want quality, personalized service. If you want fluff go to the mall.

Cheapest place in town! I got my new Michael Kors watch adjusted for just $ 7 and I waited less than 5 minutes! I had previously paid $ 12 dollars to get a watch adjusted at the mall and waited 30 minutes. Battery change is only $ 4.95…score!

Okay, Mike… now you’re WASTING my time. I’ve been here twice within the past year in attempts to get a watch battery replaced. Both times the shop was closed with a note on the door. The first incident was about 6 months to a year ago. There was one of those signs with a clock on it that said«Will be back at 11». Okay, no problem. It was about 10, so I went and killed some time at Dollar Tree and TJ Maxx. I returned to Mike’s around 11:30 and still no one was there. I didn’t feel like waiting another hour for Mike to return. Today was the second time Mike was out. There was a sign that read«We will be back soon.» Sorry Mike, I don’t think I’LL be back.

Small little store that will replace your watch battery for $ 5. It’s not a real jewelry store, but more of a repair shop for accessories. It has old interior, faded old show cases and lots of dust. Clearly not designed to please fine jewelry buyers. Mike is a nice guy, quiet, so no complaints. I brought in my watch to have the battery replaced and was done right away. I also gave him my wedding ring to repair since the diamonds were coming loose and I didn’t want to lose them. I got the ring back 3 days later and I would say, from 1 to 10, the workmanship was a 5. There were areas on the gold that were flatter than other parts surrounding the diamonds(assuming that was what was adjusted to flatten out and hold down the diamonds) and on one side of the 10 diamonds there was a gap to one side from another diamond. It wasn’t done very well and I was charged $ 45. I didn’t bother expressing my concern to Mike, but something like this shouldn’t have happened to begin with. I will stick to this place for a battery replacement, but will not bring my jewelry for repairs.

Awesome little spot to get your watch battery changed. $ 4.95 for the service and its done in less than a minute. Friendly service. Beats the hell out of the spots in the mall that will charge you upwards of $ 10 to change a watch battery.

I have been going to Mike’s Jewelry ever since he had a spot in Canyon Country at Newberry’s Store back in 1992. He has the best quality jewelry for sale, the fastest and most polite customer service, reasonable prices and his repair services are fantastic! His repairs and jewelry are flawless and I recommend him to everyone I know, if you need to buy jewelry or need some repaired. take it to Mike! :-D
