Canyon Lake Cabins & Cottages

I absolutely love this place. This was my 2^nd time back and we had such a good time. Brought my mom and she really enjoyed herself. We’ll be back. My daughter loves the pool and volleyball area.

We searched long and hard before deciding on Canyon Lake Cabins and Cottages for our wedding and the search paid off! This place is wonderful!!! Lynn and Pierre are very sweet and accommodating. The grounds are lovely and well kept, we had tons of compliments from our guests about how beautiful everything was. Our wedding was rustic chic and this place was perfect! Best of all was the value. With the weekend wedding package we had the Outback Hall and a cabin from 10am Friday until 10am Sunday! Plus tables and chairs, a large kitchen (where you can do your own catering if you wish), bbq grills, tons of leftover decorations from previous weddings to use and NO vendor restrictions. This was PERFECT for our DIY wedding! We were able to take our time setting up and decorating. I can’t say enough great things about this place. We are beyond happy with our experience! Thank you everyone at CLCC, y’all are simply the BEST!!! :)

We reserved a night at the front cabins and while our stay was cut short due to an expected emergency, the owner gladly refunded half of our reservation fee. I really would’ve liked to stay the night but had to head back home. It was a very comfy place with friendly staff.

I have stayed here twice this summer. It was overall, a nice experience. The owners are super sweet! Our first stay, we received a free upgrade and our second stay, we had to leave a day early and we didn’t get charged even though it was their policy. There are designated area’s for grilling, smoking, deposal of cans, laundry facility, vending machines, free wifi, free dvd rentals, and you can bring your pets!

What a great find! We went to Ricegrass festival last weekend and stayed here and it was PERFECT. Great location, comfortable sleeping arrangements for up to 5 people really and plenty hot water. we were able to cook breakfast there and had room for our other things in the fridge and we got to watch The Help for free in our room. Lynne and Pierre have a mighty nice gig there if you are hanging in the hill country or visiting the lake.

We stayed in an «OutFront» Cottage (sleeps up to ten) with our five kiddos. They were SO excited about sleeping in the loft, especially the ones who got to sleep in the bunk bed. Our 4yo asked hopefully if the cottage was our new house ;)
The property has a playhouse, playground, picnic tables, BBQ pits, and pool. The pool was beautifully lit at night and has a fountain, shallow area for toddlers, and steps to sit on. We were happily surprised to discover we had our own private bathroom off of our bedroom — I’m never fond of sharing a bathroom with four boys: P Bed and pillows were comfy. Great little kitchen with essentials provided.
The cottages have a cute front porch with chairs and are lit with dozens of pretty white lights at night. The owners were friendly and happy to answer any questions we had. They mentioned they had bought the property a couple of years ago. We didn’t take advantage but saw DVD’s, puzzles and board games in the office available for borrowing.
For those of you with kids I highly recommend Comal Park at the lake, which has a roped off swimming area for kids and the dinosaur tracks at the Heritage Museum of the Texas Hill Country :) And then of course all the fun things to do in the nearby towns and cities. Enjoy your trip!
The Wells Family

Charming little place off of canyon lake, maybe 2 min away. Has multiple cabins and rooms to rent. They are inexpensive to rent, our was about $ 80 a night, and we could have fit another 2 people to share a room with (if you are so inclined), or if you have kids.
Has a small but clean pool, and their is the canyon lake «beach» swimming area only a few miles away. There is a minimal fee for parking, but you can come and go as you please all day ($ 5).
They have a nice venue hall for weddings, etc. There is also a small gazebo for exchanging vows. Big enough for about 100 people to be comfortable, but the AC wasn’t strong enough to combat the Texas heat! The owner did tell us they were upgrading to central AC (instead of window units), and of course when you are dancing all night long, it feels hot anyway! We ended up opening the doors to let a breeze cool us down. They have a patio area out back with grills, a kitchen area with a bar top, and restrooms located inside.
The owners are french, Pierre was very friendly and their little shiz tzu puppy was quite sweet too!
