Ntb-National Tire & Battery

I must say I was a little skeptical about going based on the Stars listed. However I was pleasantly surprised with the service I received from Ted Cash. He was professional, honest and very personable to me. I had an appointment which may have reduce my wait time. I was in and out in less than 45 minutes!!! My truck feels great thanks to the alignment. Receiving the easy to understand pre and post specks print out made me feel like I wasn’t being taken advantage of.
I’d recommend going back based on my experience today.
Can’t give 5 stars yet as the all the pleasantries are all fine and dandy as long as the quality of the service matches. So… We’ll see.

I had an a appointment for 1:30 and my car just got put in at 4:19. Such a waste of my time. Went to breakfast and not it’s dinner time. Won’t do this again. #betinever

I made a 5pm
Appt was 15 mins early and still waiting 3 hours for a simple alignment!!! The safe just sit around walking in and out of the customer service area laughing and joking! This experience was a MESS never again will I spend my money on service like this. The gentleman at the desk, older heavy set Caucasian act as if he could not chew gum and walk. They have a complete lack of respect for time. Why make and appt if I still have to wait 3 hours! Yes I said it 3 yrs when it told me I would be next because I made an apt. BULLSH*T
I had to edit my review because there is more… I get the paper work back and the alignment says its for a BMW X3 suv and I drive a 335i 2dr coupe! No solution!!! He only guy in the build that can do the alignment is out at lunch! WTF!!! Impossible the mgr looking in my face clueless !!! A complete waste of my time!

I made an appointment for an oil change. It was 2 hours after my appointment time before my car was touched. What is the purpose of encouraging appointments if they aren’t going to be kept? Meanwhile the workers are standing around talking and dancing. Then at the end they added some fuel cleaning agent without my permission. By that time I was too hungry and too tired to argue. Will not come back. They deserve 0 stars.

Kind of wish I could give less then one star. Yesterday when I was driving home I stopped to figure out what was making a noise. Much to my dismay there was a nail in the tire. When I parked the truck I noticed a hissing noise coming from the tire that said nail was in. We took it into this NTB since it is mile from the house. Long and short of the story– the nail was gone– YAY! but according to the man «helped» us– there was nothing wrong with the tire, might have been the new struts we just had put in. The two hour wait to hear nothing was wrong with it was the topping of the experience.
Now my knowledge of cars starts and end with how to start it, park it and put gas in it. But one would figure if there is a nail in a tire, then its not there and sounds like air is coming out of the tire– its going to be flat. But not according to NTB in Capital Heights!!! So when I walked out to go to work this morning, shocker– flat tire. Thank you NTB for making me feel like I’m smarter then your «experts».
I will follow my gut next time and go to one of your competitors.

An hour and a half later and my car is still not being worked on… 1star for the coupon… –5 stars for the lack of service …
