King House

We have been satisfied customers of King House for many years.
However the old owner must have sold out and as of 1 19 16 its a whole new negative
ball game.
The new owners need a chef who knows how to make chinese food.
This stuff is remedial and awful.
There is no taste in anything they make.
They should be run out on a rail.
The soup tastes like water.
The main course have no sauce at all.
They are going to shock a lot of people and lose many customers guaranteed.
This the worst food Ive ever had, Chinese or not!!!
This is not King House of the original King House but some losers who took over their kitchen.

In the little hamlet of Carle Place, this hole in the wall Chinese restaurant is by far the best fast food Chinese I’ve had. I cannot find a better place than this!

Food is terrible mediocre at best. I did just move from Queens and this has got to be the worst Chinese food I’ve ever had. Such a shame. It’s the only one here. Egg rolls were terrible and ridiculously old, I think the inside was fossilizing… The noodles were bland flavorless and just plain gross. The garlic chicken… Bland and finding chicken in there was like finding needle in a haystack. The boneless spareribs… Ugh just awful and rubbery, only silver lining was the general tso’s chicken, flavorless but atleast crispy? Not sure that’s a home run on any level… But if I have to give them one star might as well attempt at a positive. However it was definitely a negative on my wallet… I’ll be visiting my old neighborhood when the mood strikes for good Asian food.

King House is a reliable choice for Chinese food if you’re hanging out mid-​island. They offer all the classics, which are consistently good. I grew up in Pennsylvania & moved to LI about 3 years ago. Growing up, King House was the go-​to Chinese food restaurant for my girlfriend & her family. Having eaten a variety of selections, I can say that it is not the greatest Chinese I’ve ever eaten, but it certainly is reliable & consistently delicious!

Terrible! Lo Mein tastes awful. I used to go and the quality totally declined. I tried them twice since I stopped going and things are even worse than before.
