Carlisle Barracks Golf Course

I give this course a one star due to the experience that I had in the pro shop. I stopped by after work to work on my game and after waiting a while for the attendant to come to counter I was off and practicing. I worked on my irons and drives before moving to the chipping green that they have set up. Not realizing that I you are ONLY allowed to use range balls on the chipping green I went back and got another token out of my bag. After about an hours practice I didn’t want to hit any of the range balls I had left (a full bucket). I walked back into the pro shop only to wait once again and then was told that I wasn’t allowed to be refunded my token even though I gave them back the same amount of balls that I started with. I wasn’t asking for money back. But the person behind the counter didn’t even want to try and give me a «look, I’d like to but I really can’t». I would have accepted that. So I told him that I didn’t want them and to take them and I would eat the cost of the token (even though I shouldn’t have). He closed by saying that I needed to find a place for the golf balls to go. I had a place in mind but this is an army course and I have too much respect for the armed forces so I found them a good home…
I do like this course however, if the guy behind the counter is working when I come in I will walk back out.

Porta potties need cleaned out BADLY!!! Hold your breath!!! Course in decent shape — if only people would fix green divots.
