One of the best massages I’ve ever had! Thanks CiCi! I have to admit I was a little hesitant about coming here, as it definitely wasn’t a luxury spa experience, but the quality/​value of the massage was outstanding. I will definitely be coming back!

Decent massage but I got burned pretty bad when the massage therapist applied a hot towel right out of the towel warmer in one spot on my shoulder without wiping off the massage oil. Like burning the roof of your mouth with pizza right out of the oven except it’s someone else doing it to you. The owner, George said it’d never happened before and asked if I’ve been in the sun. It’s 12÷29÷15 and been rainy for 2 weeks. Then he told me to go get vitamin E cream from CVS to put on it and he’d pay me back, but suggested I pay full price for the massage for the therapist’s time. This really took me a back as I was showing them the burn they’d just given me and suggested he should refund the $ my wife had spent on the gift certificate since I was leaving worse off then I’d walked in– an opportunity George did not take me up on.

As someone that manages back pain with massages. I’ve been to quite a few massage spas.
Asia Massage Spa has to be one of the nicest spas that I’ve ever been to. Lilly is one of the best providers to ever massage me. I told her where my pain was and she methodically works the spasms until they relaxed. Words don’t describe how happy I am to have found Asia Massage Spa in Carlsbad.

This place used to be really good the women there have amazing massages, everything you could ask for for a cheap 60 minute massage. Lately though it hasn’t been very good at all. I’ll give them one more chance because of my past experiences but if they disappoint again I’ll have to find a new spot to go to… Any suggestion?

I LOVE this place! I can’t possibly count how many massages I’ve gotten and the ridiculous amount of money I’ve spent doing so. This place is beyond reasonable and once I discovered CAROL, I will not waste my money anywhere else. Carol is absolutely AMAZING in fact she has become a house hold name in my home. If you’re looking for an out of this world deep tissue massage Carol is your girl. I promise you won’t be disappointed.

I called yesterday to make an appointment for a couples Valentine’s Day Massage because I saw a coupon for only $ 79.99 for an hour each person. Unfortunately, I was told that they wouldn’t take a reservation and to walk-​in. Are you kidding? On Valentine’s Day? No thanks. As a surprise, I was not willing to do that on probably one of the busiest days of the year. I just couldn’t take the risk of showing up and having to wait or not be able to be seen.
The person on the phone was also very difficult to understand and I kept trying to ask questions, but was answered irritably and almost rudely, rushing me off the phone. I wanted to give them a chance but needless to say, I’ve taken my business elsewhere, even though I’m paying more. It’s worth having better customer service to me.

Ok, so I love these pros. Each time I go in (and I go a couple times a month) I seem to get a different person with a whole new set of skills to use on me! So far I have never been disappointed. Actually I take that back. I’m always upset when the timer goes off because I could totally go for an extra hour!
Silly little thing happened today tho. I asked for acupuncture because it’s on the brochure but no one understood me. Even when I pointed to the word and made hand gestures of needles jabbing in me. So instead they showed up with hot rocks. Hey whatever. I’ll try those instead I guess. Felt pretty awesome actually. Next time I just hope I get someone who can understand me better so I can actually get acupuncture.

Usually when we get a foot massage at other places they give a full body massage, but not here! I feel cheated. They never even touched my back! I will never come back here again.

My husband and I came here recently while we were on a «mini getaway» to San Diego/​Carlsbad. We were feeling stressed and decided to go for a massage in Carlsbad — decided to do a last minute Unilocal check to direct us somewhere good.
We called in, and the owner of the place seemed pretty friendly; we asked for the prices for reflexology. He gave us the price of $ 29/​hr, & said it was totally fine if we did a «walk in» at any time. It wasn’t until we arrived that they had us wait for a while in the front.
After that, he showed us the «menu». As mentioned previously, we were going to opt for the $ 29/​per hour with reflexology. That was when they tried to co-​erce us to get the $ 40+/hour ones because of the fact that they didn’t have TWO people to work on us for the $ 29/​per hour at the same time. He used that for his advantage to «make more» per hour from us. I felt it was very unprofessional.
My husband and I decided to stand our ground for the $ 29/​hr that we had spoke to him about on the phone and he had us wait another 15 mins. No problem, as long as we can get the massage together. How anti-​climatic would it be to go on vacation and not be able to have a couples massage TOGETHER?
Anywho — the massage came and went. It wasn’t bad; but then it wasn’t really worth the price either I thought. I’ve had way better massages for less than what they charge. Probably won’t be back.

First time here absolutely amazing
Had a 90 min massage and it was everything that I hoped. People were nice and friendly and 90 min actually went 94 minutes so not gonna short you on time here. Spent a good amount of time on the feet and face. Loved it. Great massage!

Went with my mom because we are in Carlsbad on vacation. We both got the 60 minute back/​foot massage. SO. AWESOME. We didn’t have to wait at all. Totally worth the $ 30.00. I have been running a lot and she massaged out my calves and legs very well! The foot massage was amazing as well. HIghly recommend this place is you are looking for a affordable, great massage!

I was looking to get my back worked on, so I came here. I have been here before.
The massage was great and the owner guy, George is nice.
however, I was told my the girl giving me my massage that I need to tip a minimum of $ 10, but she needs $ 15 for 1 hours work.
Everywhere I go, I give a minimum of $ 15% and sometimes up to 25%.
I usually give her $ 7 – 8 on a $ 40 massage.
Am I missing something? Do I give more here? Is that the norm?
Anyhow, I told the owner that I was told to tip minimum of $ 10. He was indifferent and said to pay whatever I wanted, but then i may not get a good massage next time.
Guess I need to find a new place!!!
