Brunch Buffet! All you can drink mimosa! This has now become one of my favorite little places. I met my BFF there for our Xmas exchange and it’s our new tradition for gift exchanges. It’s located inside the Carlsbad premium outlet. You can walk off some of your food by shopping at Kate Spade, Coach factory, Ann Taylor, etc. It’s hard to find a decent buffet outside of Vegas but I think this place does a good job. Some of the highlights includes the omelette bar(make your own omelette), pasta bar and multiple food stations all over the restaurant. They had prime rib, seafood, lots of desserts, Mexican food section, French toast, etc… I love it! I’m def coming back here and I’m going to bring my whole family. They take reservations!

This review is strictly for the brunch buffet. Overall– FANTASTIC selection… but taste is really hit or miss. Service was just okay. Great location and ample parking. Beautiful restaurant. VARIETY of FOOD There were 6 main areas of the brunch buffet. Starting with the outside, there’s a bbq and Mexican station. Walk inside and to your left is a cold seafood area. To your right is an omelet and breakfast station. In the center is a U-shaped table of various hot entrees. Moving in further, there’s a spread of fruits/salads/breads/cheeses/soup/desserts in the hallway leading to the restroom. Towards the back of the restaurant is the carving station, pasta station, and assorted pastry breakfast items like french toast. KINDOFFOOD There was SOMUCH. From eggs benedict to liver and onions to swordfish to BBQ ribs to enchiladas to cocktail shrimp to loaded nachos to DONUTS to those ADDICTING cinnamon sugar crisps… this place has you covered. QUALITY&TASTEOFFOOD i think for the price, which is low $ 20s, it’s a good value. Everyone kinda has a different taste for food, so the value just depends on how much you enjoy certain foods. Overall, my favorites were– the DONUTS. Omg. So good. Cheeses. Carving station was cool. I had some pork stuffed with stuffing! How awesome. Cinnamon crisps were delish and really crispy. However, there was a large portion of food which was either not being refilled, not fresh, or did not taste good. For instance, the loaded nachos were TOTALLY soggy. The chips were all melting away in there. Gross. There were fresh tortillas but the meat was not seasoned well and tasted dry(I only tried the beef though). El Torito brunch has exponentially better tacos and other Mexican food. The seafood chowder looked promising but did not taste very rich. It definitely lacked flavor. Other main dishes were okay, but not great. SERVICE Our server wasn’t that attentive and we always had to ask her for refills of our mimosas. She wasn’t very knowledgeable about the food and seemed eager to be off work. Other employees/servers I encountered were pretty friendly and nice. I will totally come back again and eat with my family! Love how it’s located in the outlets. Park by Chico’s or Banana Republic.

BelleFleur is closed. I called to make a reservation and the voicemail said they are no longer open. I also called the Carlsbad Premium Outlets office and they said that Bellefleur has completely vacated the premises without notifying the Mall. Apparently, this happened in the last day or two. :(

Went two Sundays ago for Sunday Brunch at $ 25 a pop. Went with two girlfriends and had reservations for 1pm. Was seated promptly and went to get food. Walked around twice and nothing looked good to me at all… The seafood area was almost all empty. No more shrimp, had some mussels, salmon was just left over little pieces scattered here and there, and clams had a lot of empty shells. Regardless I got some of whats left over and discovered theres NO flavor. Tasted like the mussels and clams were just boiled in water. The section with mexican food out on the patio had a lot of empty containers. I got one taquito which was cold and also had no flavor. There was a guy outside making bbq bbq ribs and had to practically beg him to get one. Then he picked around and gave me the smallest one. Food inside was a circle of random stuff which did not taste good at all. I got a little bit of everything and cannot remember what I ate… The salad over at the salad bar was sad… the lettuce were wilted and old. I tried the seafood chowder and that just tasted like thick milk with nondescript chunks of stuff floating in it which grossed me out. The prime rib and other meats that they cut didn’t look good to me so I didn’t try. My friends did though and said it had no flavor and was tough. The breakfast omelet looked ok but I didn’t try it. You really can’t mess up making an omelet though… There were french toast and waffles as well. I tried a waffle and it was so so. The dessert was whatever as well. The only good thing is the unlimited mimosas but since I don’t drink much that didn’t make a difference. For the price I paid and the quality of the crap they serve, I am sure I will never be back.

This place is great. Great service and staff. The set up of this restaurant was very elegant looking. I adore the tall booth seating areas. The staff was very friendly and prompt. Our server helped with every question we had. The food was great. We had lobster bisque to start, and that was superb. I had the mahi mahi and my boyfriend had the short rib. He loves the beef entrees here, and I have to say, the fish was pretty good too. The restaurant was clean and orderly. It wasn’t very busy when I was there, however it was«Black Friday» and everyone was more worried about shopping! All in all, great establishment. I would recommend it to anyone.

Came here for the buffet. They have everything that every other buffet has plus a little more. Food can be a little more fresh. You have the option to get an omelette made fresh. Bottomless mimosas or OJ. Desserts are plentiful. Good place to watch a football game and eat the whole time. Overall a great place to check out. Mexican food selection is great.

Sunday Brunch here might just become a «must do» when I visit north county. It was one of the best I’ve ever been to overall, and at $ 24 for adults, a very good value. $ 10 for kids is even better. One room could not contain this mega-brunch. It also went into two corridors plus a whole Mexican wing out on the patio. What keeps the price down is that it lacked most of the premium seafood items and there was no lox. However, there was plenty of poached salmon, clams, mussels. peel and eat shrimp as well as other hot seafood dishes. Service was excellent. Our mimosa glasses were never dry and had just enough OJ to change the color of the champagne. Comfortable room and pretty space overall.

Nice quiet place in the middle of all the shopping :) Started with a sea food platter and to be honest it was good but expansive for the amount. We had the ribeye and asked it for medium rare and we got it toward the medium but it was still good.

I am so happy I chose this place to have a steak. I ordered the filet mignon, substituted the original potatoes for garlic mashed potatoes and it came with mixed veggies. My husband ordered the ribeye with the same sides. Everything was amazing!.. The flavor and quality of the food was on point. I would highly recommend this place.

I have been to Bellefleur several times, either with my wife or with my company(we use them for group luncheons). The company luncheons have all been great. Beer and wine is usually served(for us, free) and the buffet items have all been great in my opinion. Happy hour is nice. A great way to spend a couple of hours during shopping at the Outlet Mall that it is a part of. $ 3 margaritas or half-price martinis. They have several to choose from or you can ask the bartender to create something special for you. Each day is a little different. Here’s a list of some of their latest specials: Sunday 5−7pm: $ 3 domestic beer, select wine and well high balls. Monday 5−7pm: ½-price martinis. Tuesday 5−7pm: ½-price all bar-menu food items. Wednesday 5−9pm: ½-price bottle of wine with purchase of 2 dinner entrees. Thursday 5−7pm: $ 3 well margaritas and wine. Friday 5−7pm: ½-price martinis. Saturday All day: $ 4 shoppertinis.

This little gem is located in the Carlsbad outlets at the back end near Banana Republic. I have never been here for dinner but, this is one of my favorite places to come on a lazy Sunday. The brunch is spectacular! They have quite an array of seafood items(clams, shrimp, crab, lobster) and brunch items like French toast, waffles, meat carving stations, pastries, omelette station, I mean you name it and they’ve probably got it. It’s a great spot if you’re in town shopping the deals at the mall. I’m not sure if recommend it for a date or something but if you’re in town and you just NEED that new Kate Spade bag and you feel a bit hungry after your trek to find it and you want to show it off at a place fancier than Starbucks or Rubios, then I’d head on over and check Bellefleur out. For about $ 23.00 you get an endless amount of food and bottomless mimosas who could ask for more?

Review based on Sunday brunch only. Based on value, this is probably one of the better Sunday brunches I’ve been to. Like other buffets, some items are better than others, but there is such a variety to accommodate even the pickiest pallet. For me, highlights include the BBQ ribs, empanadas, seafood chowder, and smoked salmon. I’m not really a breakfast person, so the waffles and omelets don’t interest me.(The omelets are so HUGE that you could really just eat that and be full for the rest of the day.) I would like to see the dessert bar expanded. Right now it’s tucked away at the back end of hallway(closer to the bathrooms). Yes, there’s a variety of desserts to pick from, but adding ice cream or frozen yogurt would be wonderful to accompany of the apple, peach or cherry cobbler! Reservations recommended, if not then get there early!

Oh Bellefleur, I really want to like you! I’ve been here on several occasions, it’s very conveniently located at the far end of the Carlsbad Outlet mall and is a nice alternative to walk up lunch/dinner options. The inside of this restaurant is huge. I’ve often wondered how they stay in business leasing such a large space, since I’ve never seen it full. I guess the upside is that there is never a wait? Not sure that is a good thing. The interior and exterior seating areas are quite different, you don’t really feel like you’re at the same restaurant. Since the weather is usually nice in sunny Carlsbad, sitting outside is typically our preference, but the plastic cheapo/uncomfortable chairs and tables are less than inviting. The menu is actually plentiful and has lots of choices, but the food leaves something to be desired. I guess the best way to describe it would be bland. Most of my visits have been during happy hour, where the food on the bar menu is discounted. The cheese plate is one of the most boring I’ve ever had, all of the cheese selections taste like they were purchased at the grocery store(not in the high end cheese section, in the section with shredded store brands) and nothing was unique. The calamari wasn’t awful, but it was so bland that we had to squeeze an excessive amount of lemon on it. This used to be one of the only options on this street that was a true sit down restaurant, but with P.F. Chang’s and BJ’s now open there is just too much competition with better quality food.

One word for brunch: OVERWHELMING! You walk in and every corner you turn, there’s FOOD! A nice place for brunch, expect to wait unless you have reservations. The bubbly was refilled every time an inch from the top glass was empty. :) The omelette station was awesome and the waffles were delicious!!! Don’t forget to wear your stretchy pants!

«I’ll have the mimosa, hold the OJ… « That’s how I ordered the bottomless mimosas for their Sunday AYCE $ 23.95 brunch. And as much as I meant it as a joke. you know what… they were ok with it! They’ll pour you straight up champagne to your little drunk heart’s content. See, don’t you love it when jokes actually work out to your favor. They offer their Sunday brunch from 10a-2p. There were quite a bit of people waiting outside that morning. I was hoping they didn’t have a reservation and that I could flaunt my Party of 3 reservations in front of their faces. I’m terrible. I knew IMMEDIATELY this was going to be a fun buffet. There were so many different stations set up everywhere. Rob, our waiter, was great. I asked him for his strategy on how to tackle their buffet. He said he likes the Mexican station in the front patio and the seafood chowder towards the back. He suggested avoiding the made-to-order omelette bar because, well, you can have an omelette anywhere. He highly suggested the carving station in the back as well. Here’s a summary of what they have: — Omelette station — sausage and bacon — pancakes and french toasts — fried chicken and fried liver/gizzards — empanadas, fajitas, BBQ chicken and pork ribs, beans, rice — taco station; hand made tortillas — enchiladas, chile rellenos, salsa bar — carving station, made to order pasta, and waffle station in back — soups, breads, desserts — corn dogs and pizza(I think this must be for the kids) — fresh fruit — chicken with stuffing and chicken marsala — eggplant parm and cajun white fish over rice — stir fry swordfish — stuffed casserole — meatball pasta and mac & cheese — green bean casserole and liver with onions — Cold seafood: clams, mussels, peel and eat shrimp I seriously took an obscene amount of pics of the food My strategy is to hit up the ‘pricier’ section of the buffet(ie carving station). Try to not pile stuff on your plate on your first run. For example, my dude friend. His first plate at a buffet *NEVER* makes any sense. Like WTF is on your plate man. The carving station has roast beef, ham, pork tenderloin and I think turkey as well. Go for the roast beef and the ham. There’s a sauce station as well(horseradish, au jus, gravy). We weren’t terribly impressed with the seafood chowder our server recommended. Tasted more like clam chowder. Friend liked the cold seafood selection but always complains that he HATES peeling shrimp(b/c he’s a little girl… he doesn’t have Unilocal so I don’t care). I asked him how much more he would pay for a buffet with peeled shrimp. I think he said he’d pay $ 3 bucks more. Not sure how he came up with that number. One attraction is there’s a woman making tortillas. But she was MIA for a bit. But finally, she came back(friends said my stalking and lurking in the area probably freaked them out so much that they pressured Tortilla woman to hurry back). Tortilla woman made a fresh tortilla for me. The woman was friendly and she said that it’s a basic tortilla recipe they use(flour, water, salt, baking powder). I think that’s what she said but my Spanish hasn’t been all that great lately. Sorry to say, I wasn’t very impressed. The tortilla didn’t have the elasticity or chew that I so love about a freshly made tortilla. One buddy called it quits after 3 plates(yeah, the buddy that PILES the food onto his plate — yeah — THAT one). I forced the other friend to do a dessert run. We got in a full blown argument in b/w the dessert station. He was telling me «No effin’ way am I going to eat that«and«Are you crazy !!!». Then me losing my mind and yelling ’ You’re EATINGIT !!!’ and«Just put it on your plate !!!» What can I say. I’m a hard core bruncher that way. The home made waffle ares yummy. They also have fresh whipped cream and other toppings you can put on your waffles. And no, you are NEVER too old to add rainbow sprinkles to your dessert. It was a fun fun fun brunch. I was impressed by the variety. And my buddy treated all of us that afternoon which made me feel like a real jerk for forcing him to do a dessert run and yelling at him :) Brunch does not include coffee, as a few other Unilocalers have said. It’s $ 2 more I think. Service was nice. They were incredibly busy so it’s understandable when it takes them longer to clear plates and refill water. I would highly recommend this place if you’ve never been here before. Make a reservation. I’m pretty sure people get there right when they opened at 10am and stayed right up until 2p when they close down the brunch. In fact, I saw one lady stumbling out the front door(her date was helping steady her — what a dude). So I’m pretteh sure that girl got her moneys worth that afternoon.

I’ve been here many times and I’ve had really good food and service each time. Located in the Carlsbad Outlet Mall, you wouldn’t expect to find a place with this quality of food. On my last lunch visit, I decided to have soup to start. I went with the Lobster Bisque($ 9.95) It’s a very rich lobster, sherry and cream bisque finished with crème fraîche. I like the balance and flavor of this soup, and it has just the right amount of salt. A great way to start the meal. Next I got the Fish Taco Salad($ 14.95) It included charbroiled Mahi Mahi atop shredded green cabbage, chopped romaine, avocado, diced tomatoes, pepper jack cheese, salsa fresca, and tortilla strips with red pepper aioli. Also very tasty. I liked it since it tasted fresh, and felt a lot lighter than just getting fried fish tacos. The aioli was on the side, and with the kick it had, made for a great dipping sauce. If you’re expecting In-N-Out prices, you’re not going to find it. If you’re expecting quality food, then you’re in for a nice meal. Definitely worth trying this place if you want a nice location with good food.

I only come here during brunch on Sunday. I love the wide selection of food! When the food is low, servers come out to replenish right away. The food is great! The entire place is nice! I always pace myself by eating small portions because I love every item on their buffet menu! Bring your family, friends, and/or coworkers! It gets really packed! Reserve if you can!

We came to Bellefleur for some lunch the other day after doing some shopping at the Carlsbad Premium Outlets. It was nice to have a relaxing, delicious lunch while doing some Christmas shopping. We must have come here at the perfect time because the restaurant was so quiet. Although there was a beautiful outdoor patio here, we chose to sit inside where it was a bit warmer. There were beautiful lights around the bar, and employees were rushing around, getting ready for an early dinner rush. We started with the fried Calamari. It was so good! My husband ordered the Ruben Sandwich, and said it was really tasty. My burger and fries were quite delicious. The fries served hot and slightly crispy, just the way I like them! My burger was cooked to perfection and was very flavorful. My son said his pizza really hit the spot as well. The service was good here. Our orders were taken quickly, and our drinks were refilled often. The service was efficient, and he staff was very friendly and helpful. This was a wonderful way to relax and eat after a long day of driving and shopping. We were really impressed with the food and thought the service was great here too. Bellefleur is a nice place to get lunch while shopping at the Premium Outlet stores in Carlsbad!

Had burgers and martinis for happy hour. I ordered the mandarin cosmo and the burger. Such a great deal! Meal and drink came out to about $ 15. The cosmo was delicious and the burger was juicy. The side of fries were the thick cut, but were crunchy like I like them! The service was great and our server continued to check up on our party the whole duration we were there.
