Carlsbad By The Sea Care Center

My mother spent 4 weeks at Carlsbad by the Sea’s Care Center for physical and occupational therapy; they were wonderful. Her therapists — Dave, Ed, Stacey and Adriana — enabled my mother to strengthen her muscles and confidence to regain her ability to stand and walk. Her nurses and CNAs were professional and kind: Benita, Mary, Nancy, Jenna, Julia, Mercedes, Moti, Sean, Shawna, Valerie, Tyler and Zen. The Center also has great activities to engage and entertain the residents. Joyce, Ozzie and Rose and their wonderful volunteers provided a wonderful array of activities such as watercolor painting, music therapy, bingo, and special musical performances. The administrative staff — Isabel and Carolyn — were very helpful in obtaining Care Center services and providing information on available outside services such as medicare and medical equipment. Their facilities are exceptional — bright, clean and fresh — and their food is delicious and plentiful. Should my mom need additional therapy, the Care Center is my first choice!
