Carlsbad Village Pharmacy

So pleased I switched from the big chain to Carlsbad Village pharmacy. Personal and friendly service, and they offered to make the calls to switch my recurring prescriptions over. No more long waits in multiple queues!

I pre-​paid for a special order of a stock item (Neosporin ointment), which I was told that it would be there the next day, but it took two day to arrive, so on the second day I founsd the product (sheaper too!) at another pharmacy. When I asked for a refund they would only give me money back for half the order. I was willing to take a store credit, or pay a re-​stocking fee, but they were not willing to be flexible, and the pharmacict just kept shaking his head, «no», which I thought was rude. I will never buy anything at this pharmacy again. bad business practices.

This is one of the best pharmacies I have ever dealt with — they are awesome! They always know just what I am talking about when I call, they get my prescriptions ready within a few minutes and they are always so friendly! Although they are only open during the week they make it so easy to just stop in and pick up what you need that it really isn’t hard to work around. A true family run local business, please support them!

These are really good people. In terms of a local community pharmacy, you can’t do better than this.

Everyone here knows my name, is super friendly, has my prescriptions memorized, and helps me fight with my drs office for refills when things fall apart with my insurance company and my dr office starts to give me the run around. They’re patient, and even though they’re only open during the hours I work and I do not live close, I make the effort to go out of my way to continue using their services. They know how to treat people.

I love this new pharmacy! They are located in the village and in a very convenient location. The owners are the nicest people you will ever meet! The wife is a doll and the husband and son are kind as well. Their shop is extremely clean and professional. They fill my prescriptions in minutes and have been very informative with any questions I have had. I moved all of my prescriptions from Costco and Rite Aid over. I love shopping at a local family businesses. I have been and will be telling everyone about their pharmacy. They are not only a great business addition to our village, but a great family to have in our village as well. You should try them out!

So happy with this little pharmacy. My husband and I have wanted to switch from a big chain pharmacy for a long time. It was just a fluke i needed glucose testing sticks for my diabetic dog and when I called they said they could have them the next morning. The other chain pharmacies I called just told me to order on line.
It’s very small but I am sure they can order whatever you need. It is a father/​son operation and wife/​mom works there too.
It is immaculately clean and all of them are very friendly. My prescriptions were ready when they said and it appears they take most insurances. I checked some of their prices on over the counter stuff, lotions etc. and their prices appear quite competitive. I’d rather give them my business than the big chains. Please give it a try!

I ran a few miles outside and thought I had enough sun screen on my face but that wasn’t the case. I found this pharmacy through Unilocal and drove over. I noticed the Open sign was lit but noticed they were kinda under construction. The nice lady inside told me they had just bought the pharmacy and were still setting things up but asked how they could helped. I mentioned my face was burned and asked if they had anything to relieve the pain. Her son who is the pharmacist recommended aloe vera and they so happened to have one last bottle on one of the shelves. I was going to pay with credit but they didn’t have credit setup yet. To make a long story short the son/​pharmacist ended up giving me the bottle of aloe vera for free, he refused any money & told me to just let others know about his new pharmacy. So that’s what I’m doing with this review. Thanks to the new owners of this pharmacy my face looks and feels so much better now!
