I am really disappointed after reading the positive reviews about the service I just received. I am looking for a new primary care doctor, so I called today to try to make an appointment. The receptionist told me to try urgent care. She didn’t even tell me if they had any thing available. Just dismissed me. Very unprofessional. I hung up being very confused because she never answered my question about whether they were taking new patients… just told me to go to urgent care.

Getting into a doctor can be tough. Finding one you like — even tougher. But this office exceeds my expectations. Same day appointments are never an issue. They even spend time talking to you. Not a two second in and out visit. l’ll keep coming back. But hopefully not too often. :-)

I saw Dr. Hall today. He’s nice and attentive. I haven’t seen a doctor for regular health care in about 10 years. Dr. Hall entertained all my questions and he had good responses and medical insights for everything I brought up. He seems proactive too — I appreciated that.
The lobby is very clean and organized. It has a water dispenser, magazines, and a tv showing a health channel which features health education and fun facts. I learned some pretty helpful stuff while I was waiting (tricks to breaking bad habits, how to stop bloody noses, how to treat burns, etc). I liked that a lot actually.
The office staff was very friendly and approachable. And I didn’t have to wait long at all.
The office was pretty easy to find. Kind of confusing because the address is on State St. but it’s actually on Roosevelt. However, my gps got me there without any trouble and parking was a breeze.
There are also very cute shops and eateries that share the same building complex. When I’m not dieting, I think I might try them :)
All around, I had a very pleasant first time experience.

I booked an appointment in advance and they notified me it would be $ 90.00 for the consultation. I spent about 15 minutes giving them all of my information. When I arrive for my appointment they notify me that the cost is going to be $ 142.00! They are not willing to honor the price I was told over the phone. I spoke with them on two occasions and they failed to inform me that the price they originally quoted me for was not accurate. Very unprofessional if you are going to try to up charge a young individual without insurance who is just looking to get a much needed prescription filled.

I have visited Dr. korpf here several times. He is an excellent family doctor. His nurses are fantastic. The doctor and nurses seem to always be upbeat and happy. They only see me maybe twice a year but they remember me and engage me in conversation. They all seem to be the real deal and care about their patients. There have been a couple of times were I can down seriously ill on a Thursday, and they worked me into the schedule for a Friday appointment. Gosh, I don’t know where else to go for that kind of special accommodation these days.
I am very grateful to the good doctor and his staff.
