Bottom Line: Reasonably priced clothing for newborns, toddlers and young boys and girls.
The clothes at Gymboree range from really cute to «meh» so while I can usually find a few things here for one of my adored nephews or niece I usually don’t come out of here with arm loads. I tend to like children’s clothes that are embroidered rather than painted and I try to avoid clothing with words on it like «Cutie Pie» or «Daddy’s Little Slugger.» Given how particular I am, that limits my options here but I certainly realize not everyone is that picky about their kids threads. Finding items here might take a little digging but the staff is usually helpful when prompted for assistance.

This is a smaller outlet store that can get crowded and if you’ve got a stroller, it’s tough to maneuver the aisles. That aside, Gymboree offers great quality kids clothes at good prices. As an outlet, you’ll find the selection of clothes is different from the regular stores (it’s one year behind) but still very nice, nonetheless.
The outlet stores are now accepting coupons that are provided for the regular stores, so if you sign up for the loyalty program, you can get some great deals. I always stock up when the store has a sale where everything is $ 14.99 and under!

The Gymboree store has some good deals on clothes that are a year or two out of season. aC (aged 5) raced around the store pointing out all the clothes she used to wear. The current ranges, however, are sold at or near full price (which certainly isn’t cheap). Unless your kids need to have the most current Gymboree style (strawberries instead of watermelons, pink instead of yellow), you should be able to find some outfits for your little ones here.

El Cajon, CA
My kids are all grown up and I haven’t had a need to shop at a kids store for a while. I went in to shop for a little girls birthday and fell in love. This store has it all and then some. The employees are all happy, friendly and helpful. The prices were really awesome and it was easy to shop in here. It took me 10 minutes to shop for 3 kids and it is right off of the parking lot, so it’s a quick in and out.
Now I’m looking forward to shopping for more little ones.
