I live nearby, so I take my recycling here. Plastic water bottles mostly. Anyways, this place can get busy and the line does get long. There’s one guy who works the recycling. Some people come with 2 trash bags, some people show up with a truck load of recycling. Hence why the wait can get long. But you walk away with a voucher to redeem for cash inside of Vons.
Tips:
— they want you to have the lids off the bottles, meaning when you’re recycling at home, unscrew the lid and toss both into your bin. I think they do this so there’s no liquids inside the bottles
— bring hand sanitizer
— put aside an hour or so to do this
— speak up when another person gets there and doesn’t realize you’re next in line
