Simple Head Lice Solutions

After three full days of dealing with lice, three treatments on my child’s head, 15 hours of picking nits and eggs out, and three days of missing school, we called and set an appointment. My daughter has long think hair and it only took them 45 minutes! It has given me peace of mind knowing we have this under control. I would recommend them in a heartbeat. I hope I never have to use them again, but if the unfortunate happens again, I will not waste my money on store-​bought products and just book my appointment.

So my poor boys had the worst possible news: lice was in the school. We thought nothing of it… Until they started to scratch. We brought them in to be checked, and sure enough… Lice! After having the worlds worst case of heebie jeebies, we got the lice removed by the incredibly capable and caring Michelle. She dealt with our screaming children who really don’t like getting their heads touched, and made sure that our family was taken care of. We were saved hours and days of doing it ourselves, and the follow up check up made sure we were free and clear!

My youngest also pointed out that it didn’t hurt when Michelle did the treatment on her (unlike Mama!). There is enough work to go around with de-​lousing the house. So glad I not only saved myself 8 – 10 hours in treatment time for the girls but I also have the peace of mind that my husband and I are lice-​free.
I love that the products are all natural and they smell really nice. I did end up buying the products to keep us lice-​free. We will have our follow up treatment in a week but I fully expect we will still be lice-​free. Girls are happy because the treatment was so quick, smells nice and I didn’t make good on my threat of shaving their heads!

After discovering that my daughter had lice and, inevitably, I did too I asked my husband to go through the arduous process of combing through my ridiculously long hair to remove all the nits. He eased my mind about the next steps I had to take on sanitizing my home and help debunk a lot of myths I had been told about lice and their behavior.
