Honestly, there’s not much to this one. What I like about it is that it’s colorful design is in keeping with the whimsical theme found throughout Legoland, and like many of the rides in the park, there is a slight element of rider control. You sit in the open-air copter with your riding buddy and control two levers, one for up and down, the other for left and right. The controls are slow to respond, so rotation and rise and fall actions take awhile, but that’s okay because it’s a ride designed for small children, not one made to provide any sort of real thrill. My three year old was sort of intrigued by being able to move the copter with the levers, but he was very visibly bored about halfway through his ride. The little helicopters are cute, the Giant Lego figure air traffic controllers are a nice touch, and the sound effects add to the experience somewhat. Overall, not a bad ride for very young children, but even they might be bored with it.
