Drink tasted alright. I’ve had better cold brews in other locations and other coffee shops. The bagel that ordered sat there for a matter of 20 minutes and it was supposed to be heated but how can a bagel be heated if it sits in the same location for 20 minutes and the staff member is unaware of it even though that staff member took the order. I had to go up and ask for it instead of being called out as usual. This small attention to detail made the bagel unreadable because it was dry like a croûton. Definitely will not be coming back.

Personally, I think coffee bean is better than Starbucks. Their iced blended drinks are just superior to frappuccinos– so creamy and delicious, never icy or chunky. The prices are about the same as Starbucks’ though.

Friendly customer service. Good coffee. Good for coffee in a pinch. But I feel like it’s missing something.

Every time I have come the this specific location the staff stands out to me, in a very good way. They are always friendly and helped me decided between cookie butter and a peppermint latte for some holiday spirit. Overall I like the coffee, I like the service, and the prices.

This place gives a sense of welcome and the employees are extremely kind. They deserve way more than just a tip. And the coffee here tastes like coffee that would come from fresh beans ground in the carribean

Ordered an iced coffee and a water to go. The barista named Kristi was very rude and would not give me a water. When asking for a water she told me to simply use a cup or to wait until she was done with the person behind me’s order. Don’t bother asking for a water because she won’t give you one. This is the second time this has happened. Won’t come here again. I think I’ll stick to Starbucks! See ya Kristi

No Starbucks around, figured I’d give this a try. Barista was very rude and couldn’t hear a word she was saying because of all the noice coming from the other baristas. Sitting and building was decent however. Will be sticking to Starbucks in reguatds to the coffee taste.

Wanted some coffee before work. I think early in the morning is the only time there’s actually parking available in this plaza. I ordered a hazelnut iced coffee since sbucks stop selling there’s. I like my coffee with nonfat milk. Here comes the confusion first the barista asks me iced or latte. So I wanted it just like last time, which was iced. Then lady at the register asks me the same question. She explains the difference of how they are made & I ordered the latte. I went to the corner to sit in the comfortable chairs and use there WiFi. WiFi was loading but Google didn’t pop up it just said try to reload. Tried it two times then just used me phones internet instead. One star taking off for wifi

I love everything about this place. When you walk in you’re always greeted even if the people at the register or making drinks are busy someone always seems to say hello! The staff are quick with making drinks and very knowledgeable of their products. I always get the same thing when I come in and it’s nice to know that the staff take the time to remember who I am. Always kind to my son and patient as I let him pick out his drink and snack from the counter. Great coffee, great service, and all around great place!

I dont frequent Coffee Bean often but in between clients I was in need of a quick latte and wifi. The service was fast, pricess reasonable and drinks made well. I love my cinnamon latte but here they dont have the cinnamon syrup they sprinkled actually cinnamon on top which I didnt know before ordering. Overall the quality and service was great. They have the more basic flavors like vanilla or hazelnut which I probably will order next time. Love the fact that they have almond/coconut milk as an option.

Many moons ago during college I used to work at Victoria’s Secret at the Forum and this CBTL has served as my personal lifeline for all the opening/closing shifts. As far as coffee shops go, it is on the smaller side but the quality of the drinks and the great baristas make up for it. It is always clean and it’s a nice place to grab coffee or take a breather. Since it is located in the Forum, it can get really busy especially during the holidays. However, the baristas are pros and they get through the line fairly quickly. I’ve tried several of their lattes and iced coffees. Every drink has always been delicious and strong with caffeine. I’m not much of a tea drinker but I’ve heard great things about their selection from fellow tea enthusiasts.

We went in here for the first time this past weekend. The weather was warm and the hubby and I had our heart set on an iced beverage after having lunch at Urban Plates. We didn’t feel like driving to our favorite coffee shop so we settled on Coffee Bean which is in the same shopping center we had lunch. The store had several people lounging inside and the air was on full blast which gave this nearly 8 month preggo mama some relief from the outside heat. We stood aside looking at the menu trying to decide what we wanted and the cashier helped us select something that would quench our thirst. Unfortunately, I couldn’t find anything that was low in sugar and decaf that was appealing to me so my husband just ordered the Original blended drink with a vanilla flavoring and whipped cream added to it for himself. I had no intention of drinking any of his drink but after he kept saying how tasty his drink was, I gave in and had to give it a try. Indeed, it was tasty and super yummy! A little too sweet for me to have as an every day drink but it was definitely a real treat… for the both of us! Glad we gave this place a try. Maybe we’ll come back when baby is born to try something here for myself.

On the hunt and found another location near my timehare. It is also conveniantly located in a new shopping are with lots of stores to buy goodies at. This is a nice size location. Employess are friendly and the store was clean and well stocked on floor items and food items. Of course I had to have the 32 oz Pear Berry Sweet Tea! Nothing is better than that :)

Mmmmm matcha green tea lattes are my new favorite drink and I love the way Coffee Bean makes them. I like to add in a little vanilla powder to make it sweeter and it’s like heaven:) I don’t think I’ve gone a single day this month without either getting a match latte while I’m out and about or making one at home… so much better than coffee and the taste is addicting!

I have a thing for Coffee Bean’s vanilla lattes and this location is the closest to home when I’m looking for a fix. I’ve watched them make one and they use some kind of magic vanilla powder which would seem to add a bit of extra decadence over the syrups I’ve seen used at other chains. This location can be fairly busy. It’s fairly small but I’ve always found a seat though. The staff is nice and the clientele friendly.

This CBTL location is awesome! The service is always extremely prompt and the teas/coffee come out quickly and tastes great. Located within the Forum in Carlsbad, this may be the cleanest CBTL that I have ever been to. Highly recommended over the likes of Starbucks. Take advantage of the seasonal selections, you won’t regret it.

I recently went to coffee bean to get something to drink and now I am obsessed with the passion tea! It is way better than Starbucks. I even got the tea bags to make it at home. The individual bags come in a box and are decently priced. What I thought was cool. Was when you buy tea or coffee you get a free sized drink! :) I highly recommend the passion tea and can’t wait to try all the other ones!

Why can’t I find decent coffee outside of Seattle and Austin? I stopped in here while waiting for my wife to check out the paper store nearby. I ordered a six shot twelve ounce breve latte. I got the standard«Whoa! Will that fit in the cup?» reaction. The girls behind the counter were nice and talkative. It didn’t take that long to get my coffee. They actually used the word«hashtag» in conversation with each other. The coffee: Burnt. If I wanted burnt coffee, I’d go to Starbucks. I thought this place would be a safe bet seeing as they had an espresso machine, and little pamphlets about the different varieties and roasts of coffee they had. So, if you think Starbucks is good coffee, you’ll be fine with this place. If you, like me, think that Café Umbria, or Café Verite is what you should be shooting for, and that lever-pull espresso machines are superior, this place is not for you. I didn’t actually finish the cup of coffee. So, three stars for the service, one for the coffee, average of two stars.
