I stopped going to see Dr. Helton because I felt like they were requiring services that I considered recommended but not necessary. For example, 2 cleanings a year (as covered by insurance) was fine with me, but they wanted to do 4 per year (with 2 being paid out of pocket). Having switched to a different dentist, I am now far happier. I get the care I need at a price I’m comfortable with, and I don’t get any extras unless I request them.
