Two stars for their cool glossy covers!, but as a two-time writer for them (I brought music articles to the plate), they’ve never used me again. other than to let me know «times are tight.»
For the past few years the publisher has gone all nepotistic on us, using the same one or two people to write all the articles! What does this make for?, a very bland and boring magazine, indeed. I mean, c’mon!.. there’s only so many new ways one voice can write, and this is not the forum for that, either.
Unfortunately, I agree with the comments below. same ol’ same ol’, and basically only geared to the wealthy hordes in PB or Carmel-by-the-Sea.

This is worse than the Pine Cone, BY FAR, in terms of peoples’ needs to be in a bubble around here. This magazine is for people with one thing: MONEY! The only cool thing about the magazine is the stories of some locals and seeing people you know at gala event photos. But basically, this is just one large advertisement for rich people to spend.

Russell is right, well I’m not sure since I haven’t been around for a couple years. But I do have to give them 5 stars for their magazine covers. Always catches my eye since there is usually someone beautiful on the cover.
