What a great little spot. Despite the relatively small amount of reviews given the age of this spot, they are definitely not hurting for patronage. This place is packed on a Friday night, and you can’t blame everyone for wanting to come, it’s BINGO night! This place is an amazingly quaint family friendly spot. They have breadsticks that are oozing in yummy buttery garlic, a solid Greek salad, and pizza that won’t leave you complaining.(Let me re-emphasize how awesome the breadsticks are– and the cheese… mmmmm). Tony is an irascible character, encouraging the«audience» to boo when someone leaves and remonstrating others for being«bums» and«donkeys» while he was calling numbers for BINGO. Come here on a Friday, and you’ll get dinner and a show. Oh did I mention you they hand out prizes? In advance of BINGO beginning, Tony handed out prizes to all of the little kids who probably aren’t old enough to understand or play. This place is an establishment and if you haven’t been yet, you’re making poor life choices.

You will get what you pay for here! I don’t normally write reviews, Tony’s is review worthy. Best pizza in town!

Let me start with the great stuff: Greek Tony’s has great crust — it’s chewy yet snaps a little when you bite it because of the little slightly charred spots. Now for the rest. The sauce is strange: it’s redolent of sage, and when I first tasted it, it wasn’t too strong, but as I ate, that was pretty much all I could taste. Sage is fine in grandma’s Thanksgiving stuffing, but it’s weird when it’s the dominant taste in pizza. The people who work there are awesome, though. They’re very friendly and accommodating. While I was waiting for my pizza, the woman who made it came out from the back and gave me an estimated time of when it would be done! That’s great service right there.

First time visitor, only went because the reviews were good. Unfortunately, our experience was not stellar. Breadsticks were fabulous but it went downhill from there. We ordered 3 pizzas and all 3 arrived at different times. Ordered a small cheese pizza for my daughter and they forgot to make it. It finally arrived after everyone else was finished with their food.

Oh my! While I have wanted good pizza, I was lacks in my searching. But now I have found really good local pizza! Spicy sausage, sauce that is a good accompaniment, and airy crust with a good chew to it and a crispy edge. It’s a down home place with black and white checker table clothes, menu under the plexiglass at the counter where you order, serve yourself pop and put your number in the card holder at whatever table you pick. Probably a different hardworking teenager than the one who took your order will bring you your pie, paper plate and plastic utensils. You know me, I love keeping it simple and the overhead low! The money you spend is going towards really good pizza and back into the community. It is not cheap but you will be happy with what you paid for. I will definate be back, many times :) It really reminded me of the quality of Albano’s Pizza back home in Michigan City.

I’m a little torn on what rating to give this… I’d feel very comfortable with a 3.5, but since that’s probably never going to happen, I’ll go with a 4. It’s a locally owned business, not a chain, so that gives them a point in my favor. Tucked in a small strip mall setting, near 116th and Rangeline, it’s surprisingly easy to miss if you’re not looking for it. You go in, order at a counter, and they bring you your food. The servers/counter people are friendly and eager to help you. It’s obvious that they have a lot of regulars at lunch that they know by name. For my lunch, I chose the special… a slice of pizza, a salad, and a drink for 6.49. I think this was a bargain! The salad was nothing special, lettuce and tomato, but I’ll say it was fresh. Nothing worse than getting wilted salad, and that sure didn’t happen here. They had several options for their pizza, so I chose sausage, the safe choice. It was a very generous slice of pizza, and I would say it was above average. Not the best in town, but a cut above many others around. My buddy ordered breadsticks and we split the order, and I’ll say those were just about the best darn breadsticks I’ve ever had. Simply amazing. All in all, a quite positive. I’ll be back.

Since moving to Fishers 5 years ago and discovering this little gem, it has become our favorite Birthday hang out for my husband and our 4 kids! GREAT food, and we love the simplicity of the dining area – nothing fancy! Love it, and they have the best sandwiches, breadsticks, and pizza crust!

Visiting the town for work and this place looked like my kind of spot. Sadly, I was very disappointed. Flavorless sandwich and unenthusiastic staff. Maybe the pizza is better, but the Mama’s sub is sub-par. The house made vinaigrette was good, however.

Why does Tony own a Greek restaurant? He should own an Italian restaurant. The gyro is better than average, but not incredible. The plus is that it’s definitely gyro meat and not the thin slices you get from sandwich shops. The con is that they almost break your arm for a side of feta. Rumor has it that the Italian Beef is top notched, but can’t confirm or deny. They really get you with the drink sizes. The small is like a thimble. What self-respecting human being drinks out of that cup? You spend more time at the drink station than at your table. Locally owned so I will always support! Prepare for your food coma and definitely have a designated driver if you get the gyro — no way your eyelids won’t close before making it home.

I love Greek Tony’s, but they lost a customer today. I’ve been going there for as long as I can remember. Ordered right when they open. Say it’s an hour for delivery. I was ok with that. Call 1 hr &45 minutes later, and they tell me it will be another 45 minutes. Pretty disappointing.

your typical pizza joint… good spot for lunch. I ordered a pizza and my friend had the gyro. both were good and we decided we would be back but as soon as we got back to the office we both got sick. we could only guess that their soft drink machine nozzles were dirty since that’s the only thing we both had. not sure if we will be back… could have been a fluke.

Wow. I just called and was on hold for 5 minutes. Called back and girl told we they were busy! I said maybe I should call elsewhere for pizza and she quickly responded ok! Unreal… I hope the owners read this.

This is one of those moments when honesty has the potential to be painful. My husband and I love quiet restaurants which is probably why we eat at somewhat odd hours when we’re out on the weekends. We realize more patrons mean more business for the establishment, thus guaranteeing our favorite haunt sticks around for a good long while. And we support that. We just like it better in between rushes. Greek Tony’s however, has been quieter than usual when I’ve been in lately. Why? I have no idea. It’s a great little place. Is it making high end dishes with exotic and intriguing ingredients? No. Is it trending with the latest fads? No. It’s making some pretty darn good pizza. It sure beats the heck out of any chain pizza place that will deliver to my door. I love the kitschy atmosphere and the breadsticks are killer. The pizza scratches the itch and the sandwiches aren’t too shabby either. The best thing about this place is how comfortable it is. Come in, order a big slice. Grab a chair and watch for a while. You’ll see a young, friendly staff playing hard, but working harder. You’ll watch them greet an extraordinary number of patrons by name. And don’t think you’ll be able to sit in the corner under the radar, either. They’ll not just check in with you to ask about the food, most likely they’ll ask about you. So here is where the pain comes in — get to Greek Tony’s people. There is no reason for this place to be quiet. Come in and turn my quiet, peaceful place into the bustling madhouse that it really should be.

Being that this is pretty much the only place to grab a Gyro in Carmel… I should give it 4 stars, however if I rated this compared to other Gyro joints in Indianapolis… it is a 3. I came here with co-workers for lunch and the first thing you think when you walk in is «Oh.crap…this is going to suck»…the reason for this, is the ambiance… it is very divey… hockey memorabilia on the walls… couple of arcade games… diner type of table covers… it just reminds you of the late 80s early 90s… which makes sense if you knew how old this place was. Unless the retro look is what they are going for… I’d recommend an update in ambiance. Food…I got a Gyro and it came out cold…2 of my co-workers who also got the Gyro, said the same thing. The girl who brought over our food took it back and apologized. After another 10 minutes or so…3 more gyros came out and this time hot. I understand, it happens. This isn’t a Michelin Star restaurant, so I don’t expect perfection. The Gyro was very tasty… I gobbled it down nice and quick… the Tzatziki(if that is what they think it is) was pretty much sour cream with a little bit of yogurt. While delicious… it wasn’t really traditional. The pita was warm and soft! The sandwiches do not come with a side, but really they don’t have much in the way of sides… ruffles plain potato chips are basically your only option… no thanks. I’d come back here… but I’m not counting down the days if you know what I mean.

Start of by saying if we had ½ stars I’d probably go 3.5. With that said my first time here in over 10 years was enjoyable. We we were younger we used to live right by here and would go somewhat frequently and always enjoyed it. After moving to the other side of town for a few years I had just never made it back once we loved up here. With our kitchen noisily out of commission the other night I needed somewhere to grab dinner with the kids but also keep them entertained for a while to stay out of the house and decided to give it another try. Overall the food was good but nothing was great and the fact that they have a couple arcade games and foosball style hockey game really served its purpose. We got cheesy bread, breadsticks(gigantic) a pizza and a few sandwiches. I had the godfather which was my favorite thing that I had. My only real complaint would be that I thought it was pricey for what we got overall.

Great local pizza place in Carmel. Greek Tony’s has been around for awhile and has a loyal following in town. Don’t be put off by the interior, it is a bit run down, but I think it adds to the«small town» pizza joint. Carmel was a small town when they opened, no doubt. The have several specialty pizzas, my favorites are the Paulie’s Hot New York Italian Fat Boy Pie(very distinct pie) and the Meat Lovers. I also hear that Tony’s Deluxe and the Grand Slam are excellent. I’m a fan of the thin crust, haven’t had the deep-dish yet. The breadsticks are pretty amazing too. I always get carry out, so I have no idea how the service is there. The staff is always friendly and attentive when I call and when I go in.

I’m looking at Greek Tony’s 4 star overall rating and thinking man, what did I miss out on? Decided to try it with my fiancé about two weeks back because it looked great on Unilocal. This place has clearly been there forever, not sure if it’s always been Greek Tony’s but the building is old. We walked up to the counter and register where the menu is layed out for you and ordered. I honestly wanted pizza and so did my fiancé but we felt a bit rushed in ordering so instead of discussing which pizza we’d like, we both ordered subs. I went with the godfather and she went with the stromboli. I also ordered some breadsticks for us to share, because who could resist breadsticks at a pizza joint? We chose a table and sat down to wait on our food. While we were waiting, I couldn’t help but notice the build up of dust on the ceiling tiles above us, and throughout the dining room. That is absolutely vile. Do you guys even care about the wellness of your customers? I’ve never seen anything like it. It is beyond me how the health department hasn’t spotted it yet during an inspection, because it’s clearly been there for a long time. If that is how your dining room looks, I would really hate to see your kitchen. This needs to be fixed immediately because I can’t be the only one who’s noticed it. I decided to ignore it for the time being and just eat my food once it arrived. Subs were hot, breadsticks were scorching hot. Good start. The breadsticks were absolutely delicious, drowning in garlic butter. I’d get those every time. The subs were, well, sub-par. See what I did there? If you’re going to serve(from what I’ve heard) some of the best pie in town, your subs better match it. They really don’t. You can tell they are cheaply made. The bread sucked, the sausage sucked, the sauce was ok. Overall I’m pretty disappointed(and a little disgusted) with my visit. I will be coming back to try the pizza and I really hope to see that you’ve cleaned it up. If everything looks good and tastes good, I’ll update my review. Even if your food was the most amazing thing ever, you have to keep your restaurant clean. 1 star, for shame.

Local strip mall pizza shack. There’s nothing wrong with it but there’s nothing special about the food. Therein lies the problem — «local strip mall pizza shacks» are a dime a dozen in suburbia and, if the food is not memorable, the only thing it has going for it is that it’s there. But«it’s there» is not a compelling value proposition. Another mediocrity can open up 1⁄8th of a mile closer to someone’s house and win that business. Or «last night’s leftovers» could look somewhat enticing in comparison.

Great family owned business. I love their pizza and their sandwiches are also great. Nothing super unique or special just well made pizza with great ingredients. The inside is cozy and has a real family feel. If you’re looking for no thrills and no frills good pizza this is a great place to check out.
