Two words, Cottage Pie. Ever had a shepherds pie? This is better. Ground beef instead of lamb plus cheese on top? Whaaaat? I’ve also had the mini fish and chips as a table appetizer, very good. Owned by the same team that put together Matt the Miller Tavern, this place feels like you walked into a bar in Ireland(although I’ve never been there haha). Guinness is cold and poured right, service is good, TV’s everywhere. What’s not to like

Holy moly two words: Cottage Pie. If you think a Shepherd’s Pie somewhere else is good… you haven’t even lived! I could gobble up one of those a week. The appetizer fish and chips(actually crisps) is a perfect table sharing portion and just enough for a group of 4. This place feels like a new age Irish Pub with plenty of TVs and good service. There is an upstairs that I haven’t checked out yet but I’m sure it would be great for large groups. They have Magners on tap and some pretty good deals during the week including a $ 9 Cottage Pie on Tuesdays. Check them out!

Busy as can be on a Saturday night. Our group of four was lucky to get a bar table, nice seating there, too bad there is not more room in the bar. Bartender Jason and waiter Kyle were friendly and efficient. Menu is solid for pub grub, not as much for a family dinner, but we were not there for«dining». Good beer selection. Fast food delivery. We ordered the sample combo appetizer. Tasty fried fish, fun Reuben rolls, house chips nicely crisp, potato balls a fun surprise. Chicken wing sauce was as close to original as one can get outside Buffalo(native western New Yorker here). Wings were just cooked, needing more fryer time to get properly crispy. That could probably said for all the fried items. Main course included a pair of Guinness burgers, Kilkenny chicken sandwich and a Reuben. The burgers were judged to be «good and tasty». The chicken sammie was rated as «good, not great, but good». The Reuben(mine) had bland corned beef and blander sauerkraut. Something called Marie Rose sauce was listed in the menu description but was either left off or made no taste addition to the sandwich. Black bread needed to be be heartier to stand up to the moisture content of a Reuben, a typical problem with Midwest breads. French fries were on the edge between limp and good. There seemed to be a general lack of seasonings all around. The clientele in this area is well traveled, well educated, and savvy enough to expect the highest quality. Overall: Atmosphere-enjoyable Staff-friendly and attentive Menu-good selection of pub grub Drink selection-spot on Food-well designed and presented. Details need to be better executed to be great. The menu is concise enough to really nail the dishes. Also, maybe add some live music, especially on weekends.

If you like salads drenched with salad dressing, ingredients you specifically asked to be left off, and dry chicken, this is the place for you. Beer selection and service were good.

Update: Came back and the service was much improved. The combo meal(clam chowder and Reuben) is the best in the area. Great to see the improvements! Odd experience… we live down the street and love Matt the Millers. We decided to try this out for lunch. We showed up at 1p for lunch. No lunch menu. No worries. We sat at the bar and the bartender took 10 minutes to greet us. We just about left. He only had one table in the entire bar area. He showed up and asked what we liked to drink. No suggestions or anything(you’d think that this would be top priority being new). We both ordered a beer. He poured it, put it down and then disappeared for another 10 minutes. He came back and asked if we were ready to order, took our order with no «extra» talk and walked away. We ordered two soups. My wife’s was good but the seafood chowder was boiled down and very thick. It should have had more cream or water in it. The Ruben was good. All in, it took 1 hour and 15 minutes for a causal lunch. The food was just ok. Not worth the time for a lunch considering the entire meal should have taken no longer than 30 min for what we ordered. BTW. We were one of 6 tables in the entire place so there is no reason for it being«too busy» in the facility to receive the food in a good time. Not sure if I’ll be back.

We were undecided where to go for dinner & decided to stay close to home. If we are without kids, I prefer to sit at the bar. Luckily there were two seats together. As an added bonus there was not the standard one, but two attentive bartenders working. I needed something to warm me up, besides the Smithwick’s, & went out on a limb and ordered their Guinness Stew. Excellent choice! Not served in a basic, boring, tasteless bread bowl, but rather one infused with rosemary. The stew was piping hot & will be a new go-to for me when we finally do have snow fly this winter. I am looking forward to catching some real football on the televisons in the future, but will bring my three young soccer players to enjoy it as well in the family dining area.

We enjoyed our dinner at Langton’s. We were seated right away and every booth had their own tv where we could watch whatever sporting event we wanted. The service was excellent and the food not far behind. The fish and chips basket was a crowd pleaser for us. We will go back again for sure!

We blew into Langton’s Irish Pub on a cold and blustery November evening, looking for a cold pint and a hearty meal after a challenging week. As my college-aged daughter observed«we are in a funk». We sank into a cozy booth and were warmly welcomed by our waiter, who bantered with us and made helpful suggestions about the beer menu, offering suggestions and samples as we ordered. Our meals were good overall with a few standouts… the Reuben rolls, the Paddy Melt, and the Cottage Pie(which had just a hint of nutmeg). We joked with our waiter, shared stories, ate a good meal, and topped it all off with a whiskey neat, and an Irish Coffee. The funk lifted and we left with smiles ready for the weekend.

Last week, I attempted to eat here. We went during a slow time and were seated immediately in the bar area. But that is as far as it went. The menus came slowly. Waters even slower. Then when I asked about gluten free options, I was told there is a menu. The waiter went to get it and never came back with it. Much later, we saw him helping other customers. Still no menu. So we left. I will try this place one more time. When I have time to kill.

Interesting experience, service was good and server very attentive and the décor had a nice cozy feeling. The disappointment came with the food. The Cottage Pie was warm not hot with more mashed potato than anything. The Fish and Chips was hot and very good. With all of the choices close bye, will not return to this one.

I would love to to give more stars for the food, unfortunately the service was so bad, I don’t know where to start. It started out fine but quickly went down hill. Very unattentive, no water refills, no drink orders taken unless we hunted the waiter down. Had to ask for the bills and they came stacked at the end of the table 10 of them. Yes a party of 10 all not happy!

I have been wanting to check out this place since we first heard they were opening last year. We just love Matt the Millers and Langton’s is in the same family. We were able to get a spot in the garage. My aunt is in a wheelchair and it took a little bit to figure out how to get to the restaurant. We passed an area with stairs to get there, but had to go around the long way and by Matt the Millers to get to the door. Then of course as soon as you get in there are stairs. I just will never ever understand why places put stairs right at the entrance. It’s just a few, but my aunt had to go use the elevator. The employees were helpful, but it was super awkward to have to use the tiny elevator to avoid those 4 or 5 stairs. This restaurant is very small so when you exit the elevator there are chairs and tables right there. If people were in those eating there is no way she could have gotten out without disrupting the people sitting there. Today there was only one other table being used luckily. they do have a rather large bar. I mean to peak my head around to see it, but I assume it’s all bar stools. I am sure they were going for theming and trying to look authentic, but with such a small place and I feel like they forgot about being people friendly. Most of the seating was booths where you had to step up. Luckily we went after lunch and it wasn’t busy or I think we would have had to skipped eating here. I hate when places make it so hard for the handicapped to get in and out and it just makes it feel like we are burdens. The hostess helped and was great. There was nothing else she could have done to help, it’s just the way it makes my aunt feel and I felt awful we picked to eat here. They also didn’t seem to have a lunch menu. I guess I don’t understand that. It was lunch and everything seemed high for lunch. We all had water and our bill was $ 60. My fish was good, but I would have preferred a smaller portion. I also wasn’t a fan of the coleslaw. I thought it was spicy, but my sister loved it. Our Reuben rolls were good. Our food came out quickly and our waiter was attentive. I don’t think I would come back. Matt the Millers is much better and has a larger menu. If I want Irish I will head to Claddagh. Also parties with wheelchairs I think should just skip even trying to eat here. People who design places should have to enter and eat in a wheelchair to see how awkward they make it. It was very uncomfortable.

Food is tasty, but they were REALLYSLOW. Slow in both delivery of the food and general service in a nearly empty restaurant. I wouldn’t have minded so much, except there always seemed to be servers hanging out at the hostess stand — just not ours. I still haven’t written the place off because it’s new — and I really want to like it. I really want it to be our go to place, kids or not.

Not bad. However, it’s clear that Langton’s hasn’t quite matured yet, being that they’ve only been open a few weeks. The menu was somewhat abbreviated, and from what I gather, the full menu will be an evolving thing. I had the Bangers and Mash. It was adequate, but I’m comparing it against an incredible Irish pub called JK O’Donnell’s, and this didn’t compare favorably to JK’s. My only real complaint was that upon being seated, we had to wait about 10 minutes to be acknowledged by our server, who was preoccupied with the people in the booth next to us. Our server apparently knew them from an old neighborhood where they all lived years ago, and so we waited. And waited. Yeah. I should probably deduct a star just for that.

Sunday night is family dinner night in our house and this time the boyfriend’s parents selected this wonderful Irish Pub local to them. Loved the outdoor seating and the accompanying live acoustic music from sister restaurant Matt the Miller. We dined al fresco, not necessarily by choice as we had some challenges determining how get a wheelchair inside the restaurant from the street side. Fortunately, it was a great night for a table outside. However being Indiana, we did have a brief rain pour that we literally weathered for about 10 min huddled tightly under the table umbrella. I will say the staff was very helpful and understanding and worked to be as accommodating as they could to make sure we were comfortable. We even saw another sever soaking wet as he continued to bring food and drink out to his tables despite the rain. Now that’s service. Definitely would like to see an improvement in all staff being aware of accessible options for patrons so they aren’t caught off guard or scrambling to figure out how to accommodate a table. We split the housemade thin cut potato chips as an appetizer and LOVED the accompanying roasted garlic dipping sauce. I has the Bangers and Mash which was excellent. The portion was just enough and the mashed Concannon potatoes had accompanying thick cut caramelized onions mixed in that really gave it a ‘bang’. My partner has the Ruben(we always split our dishes so we both get to try twice as much) which was simply amazing. The black Russian bread was toasted just enough for a slight crunch but still had a softness to it. The Maria Rose sauce was not too heavy and has a nice sweetness to it that paired wonderful with the sauerkraut and braised corned beef. I would say this is one of the best Ruben sandwiches I’ve had(*my Irish grandmother just turned in her grave*). The Guinness Beef Stew was served in a golden potato rosemary bread bowl and looked phenomenal with hearty chunks of carrots, onions and potatoes. A bit pricy but with ample free parking, live music, outdoor dining options and excellent, authentic dishes, it was definitely worth it. I don’t drink(despite being Irish. Or maybe that’s why?) but my Boyfriend and his family do and all seemed very impressed with the extensive drink menu and the quality of their drinks. Will definitely be back and we’ve hopefully mapped out a way to get inside with a wheelchair without too much navigation and trouble.

I was really hoping this new Irish restaurant in City Center would knock my kilt off. It so did. The inside is warm with lots of woodwork, pub lights that have an Irish flair, lots of televisions both inside and outside the bar and a second floor that will soon open to provide greater seating. And, there’s lots of patio space that is shadowed by its sister restaurant Matt The Millers. The food was outstanding. I truly hope they don’t lower their standards because they’re serving classic Irish dishes. The Reuben rolls are unbelievable. Crispy and loaded with plenty of meat, kraut, and cheese with a side of Marie Rose sauce and creamy slaw. The serving size was perfect. But, they only make so many each morning. When they’re gone they’re gone. The Reuben was served on black bread and loaded making it the best Reuben I’ve ever had. The beef stew was hearty served in a Rosemary bread bowl. It made me think of Thanksgiving because of the flavor combinations. Unreal. Service was exceptional. Timely and quick ticket times and well staffed. Looking forward to going back sooner than later for the fish and chips. I just about snagged one from the table next to me.

Excited to try this new spot in Carmel. Irish pub atmosphere is spot on. From music, soccer jerseys to the smiling, friendly faces. Big shout out to Dave for taking time to recommend cider and Langton’s Irish Red on tap. Arrived quick as lightning — ice cold and turns my Monday face into a happy face. House salad, Reuben rolls, and fish n chips. Now I have to plan a return trip for the bangers n mash or cottage pie!

Everything was well made and the service was fantastic. The Reuben rolls were incredible and you could fill up on chips and skip dinner! The gluten free lava cake was fabulous. Three of our guests got the steak sandwich and raved about it

Received an invitation for the soft opening weekend and enjoyed some good beers and tasty food. First of all, when you have Three Floyd’s Zombie Dust on tap it is sure to be a winner. We enjoyed some of their house-made potato chips with a spicy garlic dipping sauce. I had their fish and chips(with malt vinegar) — the fish was crisp, flakey & not greasy… made for an enjoyable entrée. My wife had one of their burgers and it was made to her liking. The pub is quite cozy and has plenty of TVs for sports viewing. I will obviously be back for the bar scene and maybe some more of those chips.
