Lopez Liquors is the BEST. The Only store open on New Years Eve till 12:30 am. They have everything from cigars to Kleenex;and a nice selection of chocolates too. Their selection of Champers and Bourbons is excellent. Arnoldo is such a nice owner, why go elsewhere.

Awesome LOCAL liquor and wine store. Remembers you, says hi… even when you are just passing by and not spending money. Last Saturday, my client failed to buy enough chardonnay for his guests. One phone call, the wine was chilled, waiting for my worker to swoop up… and he let me slide until the event was over and I could come by with a credit card. And his booze prices are not far from Costco’s. Doesn’t get any better than this.

Great place and open nights! My wife and I used to live 3 blocks away and so I enjoyed shopping at Lopez Liquors on a daily and weekly basis. They have an excellent selection of fine spirits (especially tequilas) and Monterey County wines, in addition to an extensive and growing line-​up of top craft beers. The humidor has fine cigars and Arnoldo, the manager, will chat you up on a wide range of subjects. Sure, you can save a few bucks by going to a big box store, but you’ll burn it up in gas. Situated right in the heart of Carmel-​by-​the-​Sea, it couldn’t be handier. FIVE STARS!

Great friendly package store with an amazing selection of excellent local and world famous wine, extensive liquor selection and a full range of beers. Solid recommendations and local lore can be had. Arnoldo was always happy to help, order anything I needed, and quick with recommendations for restaurants, shops etc.

This is a great little liquor store in the heart of Carmel-​by-​the-​Sea that stays open LATE! They have a great selection on beer, liquor and wine (most of which is local). Arnoldo was kind enough to start stocking gluten free beer upon my request. Now that’s great service!
