Target Portrait Studios

I don’t know what the deal is when it comes to corporate photo studios. I have tried multiple now and I used this location with a Groupon and was yet again disappointed!
Our appointment was at 10 and we were walking out of Target by 10:35. The photographer was extremely nice and personable, however she only spent maybe 20 minutes taking photos of the kids and after taking individual photos of each and photos together, she took all of 18 photos for me to choose from. Out of those photos, maybe 8 of them had shots where the kids looked ok in.
I was going to just get a CD with the few pictures of the kids that were good and she said that it would be over 80 dollars and that is with a 40% off that was included in the Groupon. Completely over priced considering I have paid money for CD’s from other studios with anywhere form 40 – 100 pictures on it from the shoot for the same or better price.
Needless to say I felt that even though young children have a hard time understanding instructions that she could have spent a little more time attempting to get good photos of them. Considering the quality of the photos taken, and the amount of money that was spent, this outing was one that would have been worth skipping.
I will probably attempt to use the studio one more time to see if maybe another photographer can do better, although unfortunately, I am not holding my breath.
