Violetz Design

Tiffany Penn of Violetz Design is conveniently located in Carmel in the Sola Salon just off Carmel Drive. I never knew that Sola rented space… so I was quite surprised when I heard Tiffany was located there, but essentially she is her own salon inside of Sola. This review is for Tiffany and her services, and has nothing to do with Sola. :)
TIffany is a master magician with color and cuts. She is very skilled in the new style «ombré» which can easily be messed up! She did a great job with this style on my hair and masterfully cut my hair in perfect layers to lie nicely when my hair is not even done. She gives an amazing blow out as well and helps teach you as she is doing the hair so you can TRY to recreate the look at home. It takes about three-​four hours to get my hair done (there is a lot of it) and she did not rush me or make me feel like I was a burden for taking up a Monday morning!
Her prices are very comparable to any other high end luxury stylist in the area. Her hours are super flexible, since she is essentially doing her own thing and is not on «salon hours» of any kind. She is happy to accommodate and takes on kids, men and women. Her space is tiny but cute, trendy and cozy. Offering water, Cokes and a good mix of Pandora, the experience is relaxing and intimate. Tiffany is awesome-​sauce sweet and is an artist when it comes to cut and color.
