WoW! I’m going to make this short and sweet… Not only is Michael and his (wife?) assistant knowledgeable and friendly, but Michael sharpens a knife with PERFECTION!
I’ve been collecting and using mostly tactical knives for over 35 years… I sharpen my own knives in the field. But I’m telling all of you Unilocal users out there… Don’t waste your knives or money, only have your knives sharpened by this professional sharpener!
Michael is THE best, bar none, that I have ever met…

I have some cooking knives that have personal meaning to me. I took them to Bel Air to have them sharpened for free and I thought they were ruined. It looked like someone was angry with my blades and punished them. I was pretty upset. I searched Google and Unilocal and found Proscopics. Michael Reno took my blades and sharpened them and made them beautiful again. I can’t express really in words here how happy I am with his work. I will literally never take my blades to another person as long as I am living here and he is working. Don’t worry about his lack of a storefront, he is a traveling sharpener. This is the most heartfelt and grateful Unilocal review I will ever make. Michael Reno and Proscopics are perfect. Don’t sharpen your knives anywhere else IMO
