Krystal saved my hairs!!! I have been dyeing my own hair for two years and have never had trouble as I have always gone darker. But i decided to get an ombré done at another salon (which was overpriced and poor customer service). My hair looked good but it needed to be toned and basically, I ruined my hair and dyed it brown and it turned green. So I made an appointment with Krystal per my friends suggestion. Krystal gave me some treatment and then got my hair back to brown! I continued to go back to Krystal once every two weeks to get back to my original blonde hue. She gave me highlights each time and now my hair is beautiful and healthy! I’m so happy! Everyone in the salon is so sweet and made me feel at home! I just love it! Highly recommend!

Krystal looked at a few photos with me and using her stylist expertise gave me the sassy new look I was hoping for.
She took the time to show me an easy way to style it on my own as well.

Alas my second experience didn’t live up to the first. My friend loves Innovations though for cut and color and the price is reasonable.

Innovations! I’ve been going to this gem of a salon for quite some time now. If you want a fun cut and a fun experience, Leah’s your gal. I went from long, long, fried hair to a pixie cut and it’s truly the best cut of my life. I got it months ago and people are STILL commenting on how great it looks now that it’s grown out a bit. One of my co-​workers literally said, «I swear your stylist must’ve come down from heaven because that is the best cut I’ve ever seen!»
Leah gets excited with you as you get a new style/​cut/​dye. She has immense confidence as well she should — she handles all clientele (men, women, kids) with an expert hand. My whole family (extended too!) goes to Leah for their hair.
However, it is not just Leah that kills it, it is the entire salon. From the receptionists to the shampoo ladies to the other stylists – you are warmly welcomed from the moment you walk in to the moment you head back to the parking lot. When I got my pixie cut, the other staff there gathered around and shared in the excitement with me. It was a truly memorable experience.
Nuts and bolts: the salon offers hair, nail, makeup services and all at a price that isn’t going to make your wallet sob for mercy. The ladies not only cut/​dye/​style your hair, they discuss with you what you’re willing to do at home to keep it up, what works for your hair thickness/​color/​condition; they contour the experience to you. Sure you can go cheaper at Great Clips, etc., but if you want that bang for your buck – a great cut and tips along with it, head to Innovations.
I cannot say enough about this salon! (Clearly.)

I’ve been here a handful of times — twice to FIX a bad haircut (once from another salon and another from… dare I admit it? Great Clips). The staff is always welcoming by phone and in person, and get you in as soon as possible. The décor is simple and catching to the eye; unique but not overdone. I’ve seen clients of all ages, and they offer a variety of services such as hair cuts and color, extensions, special occasion; nail services; eyelash tinting, etc.
Yesterday after getting my hair botched at Great Clips, I called (still in tears) and was able to make an appointment for today at the time I was looking for. I got there early and got into Antoinette’s chair early — and while starting to explain my hair nightmare was trying not to get upset again about the state my hair was in. She’s just so positive, and after a few minutes of talking with her I began to feel so much better. Yes, she could fix it, and I would no longer look like a walking isosceles triangle. As she started cutting my hair and doing EXACTLY what she said she was going to, I felt the stress I walked in with lift off my shoulders. Literally. I think I took no fewer than 10 deep «phew» breaths.
Antoinette’s great about offering suggestions, too, based on how your hair lays and how much time/​effort you want to put into styling it. She’s never over-​styled my hair like some salons do — you know, to where your hair looks great straight from the salon but you can’t replicate it for sh! t when you get home? She checks and double checks your hair both wet and dry, so it’s always even. Maybe she just knows that I’m a sucker for that «symmetry thing.»
I highly HIGHLY recommend Innovations! I’ll never cut corners AGAIN with even attempting to get a «baby trim» at another place — it’s just not worth it when you’ve found a stylist that does it right time and time again.
