Such a great happy hour! Really beautiful little spot with a gorgeous outdoor patio set away from the main drag, giving a nice touch of privacy. The wine was good and how can you argue with $ 5 a glass? Then we got pizza and truffle fries and everything was amazing! Even the other patrons were nice, recommending where to visit in town and letting us say hi to their adorable doggies. Great classy/casual feel, you could have it either way depending on what you’re looking for. I just wish I could have tried the lobster mac n cheese… next time!

We went there for Valentines Day dinner and it was nice to get in without at wait at 7:15pm. We ordered the artichoke appetizer with bread and chips and it was very good and a generous portion. Before we ordered I asked for a taste of the Corn Chowder soup and that came lukewarm and I mentioned it to our waitress told her I’d like a cup of soup but that the taste was not warm. I ordered the Corn Chowder soup and had to send it back because it wasn’t warm. Once heated it was good and I would order it again. My boyfriend got a house salad which was good and the mushroom risotto which was a good size portion and was very good. We ended up taking ½ of the risotto home. The house cab wine was very nice.

Came here with a girlfriend before a concert nearby. The food was good and came out quickly, and the menu had some nice variety. The place kind of fell apart when it came to the check though. Our credit card sat on the bill for a long while before finally the busboy picked it up. Then about five minutes later, our waitress came by looking for it. It look a long while after that for her to track down our credit card and get the bill paid. If we weren’t in a hurry trying to get to our concert, this wouldn’t have been as big of a deal but it’s concerning that they were able to misplace my credit card there for a while.

I loved the atmosphere… Comfortable seating, spacious and cozy all in one. My entrée was delicious, the spice was just right on the jolly pena(sp) burger. Meat was done perfectly. Maybe looking for a little more creativity with the plating otherwise incredibly happy. Would recommend for a night out with friends, great wine list!

Giving this place a 3 because the hostess/waitress was sooooo rude I think she got her roles confused. You work in customer service, it is your job to be pleasant. The food is good, a little overpriced. Will be coming back for the ahi salad but steering clear of that girl. Yikes!

Just had the flatbed. Was completely wet and soggy. No crispy at all. Never again. The topping was ok. The tomatoes were boiled. Definitely a bad choice there.

Great experience with my two preschoolers. Staff and service was excellent as was the wine selection. We took three bottles to go after sampling a few flights and after a delicious meal. Calamari is a must. Much more kid friendly than we had originally anticipated. Don’t be afraid, it was great!!!

Took my brother out to lunch here when visiting Carpinteria. Definitely more of an «upscale» place in the area. I can’t really remember exactly what we got, but my brother got some kind of rich, vegetarian sandwich that was too rich to finish. I just got a simple caprese salad because I didn’t see a veggie burger on the menu(I see it on the online menu though?). Caprese was all right. My brother actually ended up taking it from me to off set his sandwich’s rich flavor. We also got some kind of bread plate appetizer, which I would say SKIP. The bread itself was really just to fill my little bro up because I didn’t know what the portion sizes were. The french fries here are bomb though and I should have ordered a full order of them. I remember the waitress being a little weird but nothing offensive. Might not come back, as I really like some other restaurants in the area. I also feel like it was kind of expensive for what it was.

I am a local so want to represent; but time after time the manager is awkward, unfriendly and not attentive unless you say hello first then he is pleasant… I wish i remembered the one dark curly headed waitress who is ALWAYS classy, friendly and professional!(if I had a restauraunt I would gladly recommend her to be a manager!) Food is good Service is satisfactory Chef is cool, calm, and willing to make a dish to your liking Great wine selection If u like sports nice bar for tv watching Nice place for an outdoor lunch or a glass of wine; nice patio. Go if u want a quiet atmosphere and decent food and nice wine and good beer; no liquor Owners; I would pay more attention evaluating management! Please put back the specials board back in place because NOONE tells you what they are ! Service WINS! SMILE!!!

The lobster bisque is some of the best I have ever had. Very filling, and the flavor leaves your taste buds dancing. The ambiance is great, very casual and the décor is welcoming. The wine list is good, but for a wine bar the selection is lacking. The service at the bar was adequate, but far from superb.

I’ve eaten here twice and the food has always been pretty good. Not the best food ever but overall a solid 4 stars.

Cork tree looked so inviting that I had to come in and try them. The ambience is appreciable; I like the soft lighting. I chose a simple cheeseburger and it was divine(big&juicy!). They have my favorite fries out of anyone yet. So they made a slight mistake on my order, but corrected it and even paid for it on the house! My server was very sweet and apologetic. Despite the simple mistake made, my experience was a pleasant one and I’d be quick to recommend them any time(: I can’t believe I forgot to leave her a tip ! My server made all the difference

Corktree was a nice break from the grit and grime of beach camping. We were able to clean ourselves up, grab some wine, and appetizers. Although AC would’ve been really nice, we were treated to a nice, clean restroom, tasty food, and friendly service. The margherita flatbread was big enough to satiate the two of us and was on the happy hour menu. Score! The tuna tartare could’ve used more lime(for my taste) and the tomatoes in the caprese were on the warm side. Overall, a nice change of pace from the outdoors.

First time here. Reserved this place for a celebration based on the good reviews and photos of the food from Unilocal. The ambiance was nice and the service was great. I ordered the Chicken Piccata, the chicken was good but my pasta was over cooked and flavorless and drenched in butter. The lobster mac was ok, nice and cheesy, had one piece of lobster…(does that still count as lobster mac?) My daughter had the grilled cheese sandwich with fruit, needless to say the grill cheese was barely touched and her fruit was all gone. My husband had the burger which he thought was good. The pizza was plain according to another guest. The shrimp scampi was only ok. All in all this place was only A-OK and a little pricey for the food quality.

My first time going here and the food was great. Better than expected. Lots of wine and dine selections of beer. I would go here again. I went around 2pm and there weren’t many people there. However the service was great.

We went here quite a while back(at least a few years?) and were excited when we both agreed to end up here again for lunch. FOOD&DRINK: I enjoyed a Alma Rosa Pino Blanc(because they were out of my preference to try their pinot gris) and the hubby had an IPA. We ate the Lobster Melt with truffle fries and the pulled pork sandwich with the plain«famous fries.» Decent food, but really it was about the wine/beer. SERVICE: Our server was not super attentive, but friendly enough. AMBIANCE/LOCATION: you know anything about Carp, its a small town and on Linden Ave, there are not a ton of places to eat. That said, it is not too prissy and fairly casual so the vibe is pretty relaxed. This spot has a darker inside(we’ve had tastings inside before) and a cute outside patio. Unfortunately, tree stuff kept falling in our drinks b/c we chose to sit outside… but this wasn’t the end of the world. If PRICES: Our lunch cost us a little less than $ 60, which is a bit higher for Carp… but not ridiculous for other locations. Bottom Line — I would def still return.

I loved this place, the food was marvelous. We enjoyed the Lobster MacNCheese and the Lobster Bisque. I loved the Farmers Harvest Salad, a delicious grilled vegetable salad served with the dressing on the side. My husband demolished the burger. The Sea Salt Carmel pudding is one of the best desserts I have ever had. We will be back. The server was friendly and quick. it was a sunday afternoon and the place was pretty busy. Comfortable outside seating.
