I’ve worked construction for 15 years and been in my share of crappy inns and hotels but the Carrollton inn wins the reward as the worse I’ve ever seen. As i walked in to the lobby there was no one around and the lobby was full of garbage. I should have left then but was kinda desperate cause I’d been awake for over 24 hrs and just wanted a shower and some sleep. I call the number on door and a nice man named Bill comes to greet me. I get my room after a little run down the street to his restaurant to pay for the room. He hands me some towels and a key. I go to the inn and climb the stairs to the third floor. The banister was in ruff shape and falling apart, all the hallway windows were wide open, insects coming in and out at will. The whole building is in ruff shape and probably needs to be condemned. As i get to the room it was dirty, very dated, and the beds were worn out. The air conditioning was barely working and the room was hot. I open the towels and notice mouse droppings and yellow stains all over them. Thats all i could handle i called Bill and told him i was leaving and wanted my money back. The only good thing I can say about the Carrollton Inn was the owner seemed to be a nice guy and refunded my money no problems.
