The pharmacy staff and long checkout lines appear to be a recurring theme with this location. Tonight I sat in line for 10 minutes behind one car in the rx drive thru lane. I finally decided to give up and go inside. When I got to the counter, they told me to wait while they assisted the next car in the drive in lane. The staff is not friendly, fast or helpful. Thumbs down CVS.

This pharmacy continues to amaze me with the lack of customer service. I have a certain prescription which I cannot tolerate the generic version and need the name brand. This has gone on for over a year — every time I tell them I need the name brand and when I pick it up– they have the generic. You would think they would have notes in their system concerning this since it has been a recurring theme. I also had a prescription for a 30 day supply. Apparently my insurance won’t cover it unless it is a 90 day script. The pharmacy never called to follow up with me. I call back to see where it is and they just say will fax the Dr. and get it changed. Well, one month and 5 calls later, still no Dr. updates — no notes in the system saying they needed to fax the Dr. — just complete chaos everytime I go there. I’m done — moving to a new pharmacy that isn’t as convenient. I think I’m reporting this one to the CVS headquarters for poor service and untrained /uncaring staff.

I am very disappointed with the pharmacy service at this CVS.(I usually use one at a different location and the service there has been very good.) I had a procedure at my doctor’s office on Wednesday and the doctor phoned a prescription to this location. I went to the drive through and they told me they didn’t have it and were too busy to check for it. Thursday afternoon they called back to say they didn’t have the medication and that they had ordered it. I called Friday morning(the young man on the phone was very pleasant so I was hoping the Wednesday incident was just a frustrated employee) and they told me the medicine cl want available and by the way they had in half the dose and would that be ok. I said yes and talked to my doctor. CVS called to say they couldn’t get the medicine until Monday. I mentioned the option of doubling the dose and they again asked me if that was ok. Again I said yes. I decided to go to the store and there they told me that the change the order because the doctor’s office wasn’t opened.(I had already talked to the doctor twice since then.) Poor customer service, some employees who just don’t care and then being lied to gives this store a single star.

The pharmacy staff is friendly and helpful compared to two other CVS locations in the area that I have visited. The drive thru is convinent too! I like the option of the second lane for drop off prescriptions only. They do appear to be understaffed at times, with long lines to check out and only one cashier. Check out at the pharmacy when you pick up your RX if at all possible. I will definitely continue to use the pharmacy at this location.

Convenience finds me frequenting this particular CVS from time to time, however they are usually understaffed and unusually slow at check out. Never many customers but I’m always astounded by the line that invariably forms just as I’m trying to leave.
