this dentist is great but they are expensive which is why i had to go to a different dentist. the dr. looks exactly like jk simmons, he’s an actor.

Admittedly, it’s been years since I dealt with Dr. Blanchard. However, the last time I dealt with him, I kept telling him I wasn’t numb and was still feeling everything. He said he had given all the xylocaine he could, and to deal with it, because I was «a cocaine addict». Now coke does have a cross tolerance, but I had never (and still have never) touched cocaine.
When my ride (mother) picked me up, he pulled both of us into his office, and yelled at both of us about my «drug problems», how I needed rehab, etc. Violated damn near every HIPPA regulation in the book (I was well over 18, but still living with family). Because of this, I wound up being kicked out of my home, and living in my car for a couple of months, until I could find someone to stay with. Almost lost my job over it as well, as I had nowhere to shower before work.
I’ve since learned that there are pretty much zero anesthetics that work on me, and that it’s a genetic issue.
All of the crowns and bridges broke in less than a year — some in less than a month.
In short, stay far, far away from this asshole. His staff was very nice, the office is really nice, but the Dr himself is a jackass who doesn’t respect HIPPA or many morals.

Dr. Blanchard and all of his staff have been absolutely terrific. When I first arrived, I was greeted by two wonderful ladies that were so warm and welcoming. They treated me like I’d known them my entire life.
Inside the office, there is a TV in the waiting area and two TVs to watch while you’re in the chair being taken care of. The doctor and his hygienists are incredibly gentle. For the first time in my life, I no longer dread going to the dentist!
I’ve had no billing issues and the fees charged have been very reasonable. I absolutely recommend Dr. Blanchard to anyone and everyone!
