I have always loved discovering little gems tucked away in the most unassuming places. I hit the jackpot when finding this place. The food is expertly prepared with the right amount of seasoning and variety for any pallet. Chef Louis is a gourmet chef with a flair for tasty and budget friendly food. You will get a great meal at a fraction of the cost of some gourmet restaurants. The entire staff, including the guys who run the gas station side of things, are top knotch friendly in their customer service experience. I highly recommend this place.

I’m never one to judge a book by it’s cover, so I’ll be frank with you: Isabella’s Kitchen is located in a gas station. That being said, I never would have heard about it if a friend hadn’t told me about it. I’ve passed by it several times and never noticed it. It’s on the corner of Marsh & Beltline road inside of the Texaco/Beer & Wine store. Their hours seem like they cater to the breakfast/lunch crowd, those being 8am to 3pm, Monday through Saturday. Now onto the food, that being the star of this review. It’s GREAT!!! I was simply blown away. You’ve never had a gyro until you’ve had one from this place. You can call ahead and pick it up your food via takeout, call and have it delivered, or simply walk in. In all of the times that I’ve been here(5 or 6 times now) I’ve never had to wait long for my food. Even when I walk in, the sole chef«Louis» will have it ready in no more than 5 – 10 minutes, wherein he’ll offer up some lively conversation to pass the time. He’s a great, passionate guy, that really cares about your satisfaction, which is one of the factors that keeps me coming back, though the food is delicious in itself. Louis attracts quite a crowd, and each time I come in, I’ve noticed that he has quite a few regulars in his grasp. He’s very personable, and once again: the food is amazing. The restaurant offers Greek food(lamb gyros, chicken souvlaki, falafels, hummus, Greek salads baklava, etc.) American fare(hamburgers, french fries, mashed potatoes, roast beef & cheddar sandwiches, turkey clubs, house salads, etc.) Latin American food(tacos, burritos, tortas, chips & salsa) and even Italian food, via the«hot plates». I’ve enjoyed some exquisite lasagna, cajun chicken pasta, and chicken pasta primavera from this place. What is a «hot plate»? Well, each day, Louis sets up 8 different sides and entrees on a hot table, and for the low price of $ 5 from 11am-3pm(I think… I’ve never been in before 11am) you can choose 2 to 3 items to create our very own«hot plate». He is very generous with the portions, and this hot plate will undoubtedly hold you over until dinner, if you stop by to grab one on your lunch break. I can’t say enough great things about this establishment. I only hope that news of Isabella’s Kitchen is able to travel via word of mouth, and that it is able to flourish tremendously. Happy eating! :)
