Their kebabs and accompanying sauce = killer. Eggplant is awesome. Note: Say NO to the dolmas!!! They keep the food refrigerated before they serve it, and the rice inside is just too hard and unappealing. I couldn’t eat more than one.

We were there on Friday, we ordered Kabab plate with white rice and salad, totally loved the food, we will be going back again. Our friends tried their fried egg plant and equally enjoyed. I am giving five stars to this place for taste and flavors.

MEAT. MEAT. MEAT. YASSSSSSS. Second time coming here and couldn’t be any more satisfied!!! I eat gyros on the reg, and am really judgy when it comes to perfectly delectable slices of meat. This is knock-your-socks-off meat. There ain’t no paper thin slices; they’re literally french fry sized, fajita style slices. I loooove me greasy meat so this was definitely not an exception. The salad is MY kind of a salad because it’s meat with leaves instead of the other way around! It’s also easily 2 meals for a light weight. Feta, sumac, tzatziki, and seeded olives coat the glorious meat with TONS of flavor.(There is olive oil and vinegar in it, too, for the healthy, salad-y folks.) The wrap is also equally great!!! Honestly, I didn’t even bother to try the other stuff on the menu because I’m starting to crave their salads. The«to-go» in the name definitely fits with the interior of the restaurant: it’s made for take outs. There’s about 6, 4 — top tables, so it can get a bit territorial. Love this place and WILL be back!

I recently visited this new location and I have nothing but good things to say. I visited during lunch time and they were busy but service was good and everything is made once you order it. I got the gyro plate which was HUGE. It came with rice and potatoes and I believe you can change out your sides. The portions they give can easily be shared with someone else and also taste good as leftovers as well. I would recommend calling ahead and placing your order if you can because either way they give your food to you in a to go container either way. They also have a fairly large patio which will be great to sit in when summer time approaches.

Always some of the best Mediterranean food! The employees are so polite and they make you feel welcomed. I highly recommend this place if you are looking for a cost effective lunch/dinner choice. Too bad they can’t have hookah otherwise it would be the ideal middle eastern restaurant

This is our favorite kebab place and we visit here every week. The chicken kobida kebab is amazing. Their sides are very good too. They offer a very different saucy potato which is yummy. Both of the branches in irving and carrollton have extremely good customer service.

This place is never open. Came once, and the closed early. Came a second time during business hours, and they were not open.

Went there for a quick bite. Me and my children liked it. The restaurant needs some fine tuning but the food was excellent.

The food is good, but the downside is that they are NEVER open. Out of the six times I’ve been here they only been open twice. I come at reasonable times where they should be open. Do NOT trust the times posted on here, nor storefront. You will have better luck calling. Also, the owner will leave his newly trained employees who barely speak English to manage the store,(no discrimination, good on them for working hard) but it is hard to order food when they do not understand the menu.

Very good and fresh tasting food. Lots of different favors. My fav is the chicken kabab. The only thing that sucked was they forgot to give us our pita bread and extra sauce and they weren’t even busy :/

Best and freshest kebabs in town! My favorite kebab is the beef kubideh it’ ground beef. Overall the menu has very tasty food I love it. I also like all the side dishes such as the fried eggplant and chickpeas. Every time come it’s busy which is a great sign that the food is very good.

Went to this place for the first time a few weeks ago and I give it a 5 star Food is fresh, the options are so immense b/c instead of worrying about carbs(rice), you can opt for eggplant, potatoes or even the chickpeas. All options are tasty. I especially love how tender their meats are and the sauces with the saffron spices they add to the meat options This is def going to be my go to place for the future! Mind you this is not a sit down place hence the word TOGO :-)

This location is a lot bigger than their Irving location, however, the food isn’t as great as the other one. I had the gyro plate with half rice and half salad(ordered white rice but was given brown rice). They gave me a very generous amount for the price($ 8 including tax), nevertheless, the food was just okay. The plate was rather bland, all I tasted was the white sauce, so I added siracha to spice it up :).

Went there tonight and got a kebab plate. It was pretty good, and a good value for the money — actually I thought the sides were a bit much(you get two). I got the spinach and eggplant, which were tasty but not outstanding, and it was just a lot of spinach and eggplant. I’d prefer if they had a side sampler option, or if it were divided into three rather than two sides. All things considered, it was fine but for my money, I’ll go back to Al Markaz next time.

I wasn’t sure about this place but it is amazing ! Friendly staff and the husband wife owners are so nice and attentive. The food is prepared in front of you and everything is fresh. The eggplant is yummy, delicious hummus and the kobida and gyro! I’m so happy a place like this opened up in carrollton … Was getting tired of driving so far for this cuisine!

So today I decided to check out the newly opened Carrollton branch of Kebabs To Go in the Al Markaz shopping center. It’s located at the end of the strip next door to Dream Home Mortgage in the location that was My Thai many, many moons ago. As expected, parking is a nightmare when it’s busy. Upon entering, the ambiance is a little off putting. It’s no frills austere, with just a couple 4top industrial type tables and chairs. There is a small«patio» off to the side with outdoor seating but honestly, it seems like you’d just be eating in the parking lot lol. At the counter, a glass refrigerated display holds the different kebab offerings already on massive flat skewers. Ordering is simple enough… choose your protein(rib eye beef, chicken, ground lamb etc although I didn’t see chapli kebab offered) take it a la carte or as as plate w/2 sides. Sides were interesting… white or brown rice, chickpeas, spinach, eggplant. A potato side or salad. There is an option to super size your rice with«qabuli topping». Appetizers offered are the usual suspects: hummus, baba ghanoush, dolmas, tazitzki. They also have gyro wraps or any kebab can be served on w salad. I went went with the rib eye kebab w/salad & eggplant(I’m a low carber). Kids ordered gyro wraps. Soft drink cans and water bottles in a cooler off to the side. Plastic wear and napkins are next tony by drink cooler. The entrees are served in a styrofoam to go container. This is very bare bones and no frills! The food… oh dear god the food. Let me just start by saying I will be having sweet dreams about the eggplant side tonight. I fancy myself to be a pretty good cook, and I make a mean borani banjan which I learned from an Afghani friend… this one tasted pretty much exactly like the recipe I was taught. Moving on to the rib eye kebab. The skewer had about 4 big chunks with some yellow bell pepper. With meat this good, you don’t need a whole lot of seasoning. it was that good! One chunk was a little fatty, but I’m one of those weirdos that enjoys fatty pieces of beef so I didn’t mind at all. I had my 10’year old twins with me as my lunch dates and they gave solid A+ to their gyro wraps(which are huge by the way). All in all I give the ambiance and service a 6.5−7 Food and menu offerings I give 9.5. For the kebab plate, 2 gyro wraps a bottle of water and can of Coke my total came to $ 25 plus some change. One thing to note, they don’t offer any garlic sauce/toum like you get at Afrah/Fadis etc so this is not a hybrid type joint. seems to be legit Afghan(minus the no chapli kebab lol)

Recently open restaurant to the area. While the primary title and business is designed for basic«to go» orders, there four good sizes tables for dining in as well. The owner and the staff were very friendly and gracious people. We had never experienced food from this culture so they were more than helpful in explaining the different dishes. Enough about the business and the staff, now to the best part — the meal. I selected both the Chicken and Beef kebabs because I couldn’t decide on just one. They seasoned to such great taste and flavor that they disappeared before I knew what had taken place. My taste buds when crazy and soon my plate was empty. After i expresses my pleasure with the cook and manager, he explained to me all the other courses and seasoning that he used in the preparation of meals. Try something different and you won’t be disappointed.

It was very tasty, they throw together a lot of bold flavors. Cilantro sauce, garlicky yogurt, sumac, cayenne pepper, sweet extra long grain basmati rice and by the way the chicken kebabs. The selection of sides was difficult, as they all loked good. I didn’t get the potates, but my family fell in love with them. Going back for lunch tomorrow to try the lamb next. Just remember to give them about 15 minutes to cook the food to order.
