Since Lubbock does not have an Apple store anymore I called Procomputing in Carrollton to make arrangements to bring my wife’s MBP into the store on Wednesday before Thanksgiving since we were visiting friends in Denton. Talked to Jay in service twice, exchanged e-mails and WASPROMISED that when we drove from Lubbock to Carrollton they would be able to R&R her battery in her MBP. Arrived one hour early and they were closed. NOTEVEN A CALLTOLETMEKNOW in advance to I could make other arrangements. As an ex Apple and IBM Dealer here in Lubbock for 20 years these people are worthless. I have made arrangements with another dealer in Plano and will make the drive once more soon to get my wife’s MBP fixed.

I would definitely recommend their service. I found them via a Google search. They were close by. I called up and asked to make an appointment. They told me to just come in. I brought in my computer and monitor and even had someone offer to carry the heavy tower in for me. Very much appreciated. I dealt with Jay. He was fantastic. Very knowledgable, helpful and not a hard sales person. We discussed reasons as to why my Mac was broken. He swapped out the drive, monitor, cable and video card. That’s probably him just doing his job but I thought he was very thorough and kept me updated with each step. In the end, we could not save my Mac and that is ok. Jay did not try to upsell me or pressure me to let them fix something that was already going to be obsolete if not already. He told me to save my money and don’t worry about fixing the computer. Straight talk. I will definitely keep them in mind should anything else ever go wrong. The service was great and the cost was reasonable.
