Outstanding food, very friendly service. The Papusas are amazing-especially the revueltas. Wash it down with marañon.

Super crowded, didn’t get my drink!, orchata tasted like powders donut water, the waiter is creepy as he’ll, got here at 3:00, seated at 3:10, waited at 3:30 and served at 4:30 so I was about to walk out and go to the Jack in the box across the street.

I do crave Latin American food from time to time and so I look for closest thing to Nica food, which is Salvadorian food, around this area. I’ve eaten here several times; the name though is Pupusas Mamatitas and not as listed. The breakfast platters are excellent and so are the pupusas(bean and cheese). Food is authentic and fresh home-made style. I love the chile curtido they have on every table. The plates are large and food is very filing. The horchata is good here too. Ambiance is not great, can be a bit uncomfortable with the crowd but food is good if you’re craving Latin food other than Mexican.

Well the pupusas are good but the waiters are horrible it only took 10 min before anyone came to us and two waiters to ask if we got attended smh so i rather just take to go but order like 30 min ahead because it takes forever

We stumbled upon this gem and regret none of the future visits we’ll have because the food is golden and at wonderfully affordable prices. The popusa loroco con queso was full of flavor and the beans never disappoint. But then again I’m a frijolera! We have chicken and corn tamales waiting for us but I’m sure they won’t disappoint!

Been here several times and they always run out of Sopa de Pata. Just order the sopa ahead of time(wink) before 12nn on a Sunday. My former 4 star rating is now a 6(if that is possible). Pupusa is always a favorite. Chicken tamales is the best I’ve had! Ohhhhhlala! I love this place! See you next Sunday :)

Awesome food, awesome people, cheap as hell. We stopped by here after getting a hankering for some central american food. The food was great, as was the horchata. The staff was friendly and fast, and we had a great chat with the chef as it was closing up. They really care about the food and their customers. Highly recommend.

Big and tasty. Haven’t had any other pupusas in DFW but honestly, I don’t think I need to. These are the best.

Seriously delicious. Best pupusa’s other than my Moms. Had the pupusa’s revueltas and the cheese pupusa’s also an order of the plantains. Everything was fresh and delicious. The cheese ones had melted cheese that gets crispy just the way I like it. It’s a good thing they are not super close to the house. The horchata was a little different, and they needed to bring the air down a little. We were sweating by the time we were done

Awesome!!! The pupusas were amazing. The yucca was some of the most perfectly cooked I’ve had. Everything my hubby and I ordered was delicious. Don’t be intimidated if you don’t speak Spanish. The server spoke English and the menu was in English and Spanish.

Very delicious! So happy I came here and I’m glad it’s right down the street! I got the zucchini and cheese, the beans and cheese, and pork and cheese pupusas and they were all great!

This place is so good!!! Don’t let the little shop from fool you, this place is excellent. I ordered the Papusa with beans and cream(wonderful), rice and beans, then shrimp & cheese /pork& cheese papusa. Ask were divine. The only disappointment came when they team out of papusas before we could order more…

Small eatery that was fantastic. I have never had pupusas so I wanted to try it. I ordered two, bean and cheese and chicken and cheese. They were great. I also had the plantain dessert that was okay. The plantain was just bland but this is the first time I have had them. I was with a friend that is from Mexico so he told me that in Mexico they do it differently. The plantains came with cream cheese and beans. The whole dessert was just not my thing but I will eat it if given to me. My buddy spoke to our waitress in Spanish as we ordered and she was great. The eatery was clean. The food was good. The orchata was really good. Had a great experience all the way around.

I want to preface this by saying that I think I’m not that into pupusas. I went into the shop and let the owner pick which three I got. I think I ended up with a cheese and chicken, a squash, and something else to go. They smelled great, and I could barely resist breaking open the container before I got home. The squash was the best of the three, but the texture was a bit off. Again, nothing wrong with the food, just not to my taste. The texture was a bit weird, and I wasn’t at all into the coleslaw situation that came with my food. The price was totally right, though. Three pupusas were little more that $ 6. You really can’t beat that, as far as I know. If you’re getting a to go order, I think it’s best to call beforehand, because everything is made to order(read: fresh but sloooooooooooow).

I just now began to explore foods outside my comfort zone. I’ve been introduced to the taste of South American food for the first time last week. My boyfriend and I ordered, the service was charismatic and polite. I ordered the shrimp and cheese pupusas which are by far my favorite, every morsel was beyond delectable and savoring. I enjoyed my first and most pleasant experience so much we had to arrive again yesterday.

Honestly, I’ve had a better pupusa… BUT… that was straight from a Salvadorian man I dated not too long ago, and I’m not going to see him any time soon… so in the 3 years of searching, these are the best I have found other than those. I had the pork and cheese pupusa and the elotes tamale. Just delicious. Really hit the spot. But I would come back because the guy who runs the place is awesome. Good food good service. Ain’t bad.

Everything is hot and fresh out the kitchen, so to speak. I only ever eat the bean pupusas but every time is more satisfying than the last. The pupusas are hot, salty, crisp and savory and the curtido is sharp and tangy, a definite treat if you’re in the neighborhood.

I needed to grab a bite to eat while on my way to work. Couldn’t figure out what I wanted so I passed this place. I decided to stop. Why did I do that??? The best decision ever. That was back in 2007. I’ve been going back ever since. This place never seem to disappoint. I always get the pork and cheese papusas. They added shrimp papusas not too long ago so I tried one. They are GREAT. The flavor is awesome. I picked up some for my coworkers and now they ask me to stop every time I come to work. The staff is great. The guy that always wait on me is very friendly. He and his father knows me by name and even have a nickname for me which I think is great. The father also teaches me some Spanish. Great down to earth people. GOBYTODAY!!!

Me encanta comer las pupusas aquí y también llevar a la casa para después. Las pupusas son deliciosas, sin manteca y de maíz!
