My husband and me came here the other day and met Karina. Karina was very nice and suggested 2 different options of beds after she placed us on the bed match (which tells you exactly what support level you need in a mattress). After we made our selection, Karina suggested and adjustable base. We fell in love immediately and had to have it. I am so excited on getting our new bed. Great place and great service.

We had a WONDERFUL experience! I walked in and told the woman (Karina) the same thing as sleep train– we want to buy a mattress today and our budget is $ 500… I showed her the same the brands that sleep train showed us along with prices. She was up front about the delivery possibly being more but she told me she could show us what she had to see if there was something we liked. Karina was helpful, inviting, and super nice! She showed us another bed that was comparable to the ones sleep train showed us but a little bit more. She told us with out delivery it would be cheaper. Because of how nice and helpful she was we opted to pay more for their mattress and pick it up our self. It just goes to show you that with good customer service, customers are willing to pay a little more and with bad customer service, like we got at Sleep Train, customers WILL find some where else to spend their money, even if it means spending more than their budget! Thank you again Karina!!!

This place is the best place in Carson to get a bed! Karina, our sales woman was extremely knowledgeable, gave us our space for important decisions and was extremely helpful! Will definitely return for next purchase and would strongly recommend!

Had a great time buying 2 king mattresses from Tom. Really nice guy, honest and knows each and every product very well. Got a great price and free delivery too. Very satisfied customer here.

I bought a Simmons Cal King set here in 2003… great price, fast delivery and set-​up and has served us well. Today, I bought the replacement set, Stearns & Foster. My wife and I look forward to it’s delivery on Saturday.
I don’t know what more you could ask for in a mattress store. Tom helped me today and he was wonderful… very knowledgeable and informative! I genuinely appreciate doing business with him.

I had a pleasant experience with Kevin Carrick yesterday, he is very knowledgeable about mattresses; which was very helpful, as the choices are overwhelming!

Good return policy on their better beds: 180 days
I purchased a Sleep Fit (Mattress Land brand bed), high quality, mid priced bed. It will be made in Fresno, California (Yeah! for American made). Delivery is in 10 days.
Range of prices that I saw in store were $ 1,200−6,400 for a full set King. I think they also have some lower priced models that they don’t give dedicated showroom space to.

Not happy. I wanted to return my bed after one night and they made me wait 30. I could not find my receipt and the manager told me OH TOO BAD FOR YOU. Called the corporate office and they easily found the invoice for my purchase. I told them how rude and non professional the manager was. They told me they would contact him and to let me know how I was treated. He was nice that time. The bed after only six months was faulty and what do you know, they don’t sell that brand anymore and won’t back up their warranty. I will still pursue replacement.

I was skeptical coming to this store, due to the past reviews… I don’t like stores where there are salespeople generally, either.
When I got to this store, I was completely impressed. Kevin was nice and helpful when I looked at and tried out mattresses. He did not make me feel pressured to spend more money than I wanted to, and in the end he gave me what I believe was a great deal. I’d highly recommend visiting Mattress Land if you are in need of a new mattress.

look at the age of the previous reviews — 2007 and 2009 — so do NOT base your thoughts on these — I recently was looking for a new bed and Kevin was quite helpful. They have this machine that measures your pressure points — which will then tell you which firmness is perfect for you. Based on that and my previous on line searches for a comfy bed, Kevin pointed us towards a Simmons Ultra — which has 3 types of memory foam, enabling the bed to help regulate your body temperature over the entire sleep cycle (meaning a better night’s sleep).
Simmons was running a special — free bed frame — so overall I saved 700 bucks off the list price.
In all a very nice, non pressure environment — Kevin was funny, at ease and informative when we had questions. What more do you want from a mattress store?

We went in, on a last minute whim, to purchase a new mattress and box springs set. Our old bed was so hard and uncomfortable that we woke every morning hurting. We made the mistake of allowing the salesman talk into using their «computer bed program» that is suppose to be very accurate at telling you what you need. It told us we needed FIRM… NOT! Thats what we already had and don’t want. We found a bed on the floor that was perfect. He said that was the most popular one and they had to order and it would be delivered. We purchased new sheets too so we had a sheet set that actually fit a king size bed (but…they don’t carry that in the store either) they said the sheets would be delivered with the bed in 11 days. The bed was delivered on time but no sheets. They won’t be available for five more days. BUT THE BED THEY DELIVERED ISN’T WHAT WE PICKED. Its hard as stone and after sleeping on it last night and been awake for the last not only do I feel unbelievably tired but I still hurt. They said we have to sleep on it for 30 days before they will talk about an exchange and we have to pay $ 75 for the exchange. This is bad business. DON’T GO TO MATTRESS LAND in Carson City NV.

Like a bloody, rotting zombie, Mattress Land has arisen from the dead! I tell you, the store was empty! There was NOTHING inside, no lights, it was like that for weeks. Then, coming home last night, it was open again!
If the same people are operating this store as before, I would rather sleep on straw, or even a pile of rubble and concertina wire than purchase a mattress from them. If it’s under new management, though, then we can assume they are just another player in the deceptive mattress industry.
